^ The rarity on WarcraftPets is based on how many site members claim the pet in their inventory. This pet had been a lot easier for the Horde to collect preCAT so it shows it as being more common in people's collections instead of how easy it is to collect. This is also an issue when a new easy to acquire pet is added. WarcraftPets says that it is Very Rare but not generally for long.

Got him on my third run through the instance. Just remember to change your tabbard when you do your grind for your pet. I was able to add a little bit of the Gilneas rep while grinding.

This raptor is pretty much the same as the other raptors. I only wanted him to complete my collection. I doubt I will bring him out that often. I rather use my Boomkim which can walk or fly.

I got mine last night and the title "Assistant Professor" as well. While I very nice reward for working archeology, it is too small to be used very often.

Got mine on Velen last night.

I searched the whole cavern last night. I logged off that character at 11 PM CDT. When I logged in at Midnight, the nest was there n the middle of the pedestal in the middle of the water.

I logged back in at 4 AM and 6 AM and got two extra copies. One for the auction house and one for a guildie.

This is one of my favorite pets. I was in Moonkin form last night with the kiddo following me as I killed other Moonkins. The kiddo did not seem to mind.
