Took a few tries and a few accidental kills, but I got my rare tonight in the catacombs just after 1am (server) right by the pile of bones in the west hallway. It was the last pet I needed for Northrend Safari :D

Spent months on and off fishing for this little guy (gal? :P) in various spots. Last night I tried my luck in the underwater cave, and got one on my 9th cast! YAY!

Now I want to try for one for a friend...wonder how long that'll take? haha

Finally found my rare in Valley of Wisdom, in front of the tent near the Hyjal portal. I never count # of battles, but it was an hour or so of farming.
