Lucked out and caught one of these at the very start of the Maraudon Orange entrance (poor qual).  Also had one show up as a second during the fight with one of the Amethyst Shale Hatchlings at the other entrance (uncommon qual).  The ram attack both colors do is a pain in trying to trap them before they die as it damages both your own pet and itself.

1 in 250 my rear end! I started out at 300-something and am currently past the 500 fish achievement and into the 700-somethings. I'm most likely just incredibly unlucky though...
