Incredibly abundant throughout all of Silverpine...pretty much the only pet you'll see outside of Toads on Fenris Isle.  It took me 87 battles until I got a rare P/S (was S/B initially and then changed to P/S upon capture).

iLvl 417 Balance Druid and a level 16 Farseer Ori, I was able to clear around the pets and kill Caverndark Dweller (sadly no Caverndark Nightmare) very easily.  Got a rare P/S and hearthed out.

Just logged onto Winterhoof...no snow, but the zone was flush with them! I managed to snag an Uncommon and finally complete Northrend Safari.  Saw one or two other people who could have been farming so wasn't suprised I didn't see a rare.

They definitely appear as secondary battlers to the glowflies.  Just did a few circles and on my second appearance I got a rare :)
