The link takes you to the final quest, but if you look to the right under "series" you will see the quests that lead to this one in order.
If you haven't done any of the quests since they re-vamped the zone, you will want to start by speaking with 'John J Keeshan' at Flamestar Post.
Happy Hunting!
They're fixing him!! 5.2 notes: Pets whose color schemes change each time they are summoned have returned. Older pets with this behavior now have it back, as well as some newcomers.
I got this pet today. I absolutely love the pet detail, and the abilities are beautiful. However, when using him in battles I was quite disappointed to find out that his second ability "Sunlight" damages not only enemies as the tooltip states, but my own pets as well. Time to do some research and see why this happens while the tooltip seems to imply that this should not be the case.
Only saw one. If you're looking at the map, I found it between the top of the words "Winters Blossom" and the road south of the monestary. It was poor quality, but I'm just happy to have captured him without much camping/searching. :-)
Not sure if it helped or was coincidence, but after hanging around the spawn point for a while, I went just outside the Dry Hills and cleared the adder and prarie dog spawns. Once I went back inside the Dry Hills, I saw an adder spawn, cleared it, and then a few feet farther saw a Harpy Youngling spawn. It was a green, and I'm happy to take my green and leave the rest for others.
I got mine tonight after the second week of trying. He runs just like the BWL mobs (as if he has a weapon in his hand) and also occasionally looks as if he's carrying a weapon over his shoulder. It looks cute when he does it, but it makes me wonder if they intended this or if he's missing a weapon. I'm fine with it the way it is, it's hillarious... especially with the pet food that makes him larger.
I finally found one spawn, it was a common quality one. Unfortunately, it did not give me achievement credit. I logged out and back in again, and HUZZAH, got credit. I found him a bit farther behind the dark portal than expected, near the road.
I got mine on the savage coast near the nagas as well. I was going to clear out some of the sand crabs and wharf rat popped up as a companion to the first one I battled.
Finally got that darn minfernal!
