Update: So it seems like these are up rarely/randomly as a primary pet around the zone under the trees with the vulpin where you also see critters. Sometimes rustfur and are pet battles, and sometimes (more often, it seems) the non-catchable goldenpaws kits spawn.
55, 31; 55, 36; 44, 45; 56, 88; 57, 91; 59, 83 are where I've seen them.
