After clicking the book, new pets appeared on my mini map. I battled several different pale baby vorquins in the general area of Camp A, including some a little way down the road (so they're not only in the camp). I only saw gray quality pets during the first five minute buff. I did batle and kill the gray PBVs. Once the first buff wore off, I immeidately clicked the book again and multiple new PBV spwaned. The first one I clicked that round was blue quality.
I killed all critters in the area for about 45 minutes before a Clutch finally spawned. Blue, happily. The elite walked over us during the battle but luckily didn't do anything to knock me out of the battle.
This pet is from the Achievement NOT from a quest reward. If you feed a snail in a race and Roggy (the slowest) wins, you get credit for him in the Ach. The other three snails are rewarded from winning a race with each, so you will have each achievment credit for those three already if you are trying for all four snails. I was able to feed Roggy treats and help him win when the NPCs interfered with the other snails enough to slow them down.
You don't need any rep to get this - go to the hut at /way 86 21 and it is just inside the entrance on the left, on the table. Click that for a one hour buff (comes off at death but can be picked back up). Then go to the area around the river at /way 42 45 and you will find several The Quackcestors fluttering around. Check and kill them until a blue spawns, as they respawn very quickly.
Despite not really knowing anything about Warcraft rumble, I was able to defeat Hogger my second try and get Gnomelia. I watched a random YouTube video after failing the first time and sent my little guys on a similar path. If I could manage this, anyone can.
As of 8 November 2023, Dottie is available for one week as a twitch drop - watch 4 hours of a participating streamer on Twitch and claim your pet.
It seems that we do need to kill treasure goblins. I just happened on one in Org and another player got the pet drop, I got a few cosmetic items, another got a 36 slt bag.
This pet requires that every race be completed on both silver and Advanced silver.
Above the Valdrakken bank is a little pond where pets often spawn. If none are there, kill the critters and they should respawn as pet battles soon enough. The Wild Duckling which spawns here is a blue quality battler very often. (I have only seen H/B type blues here). It's often enough that I check whenever i am in the area and have gotten most of my guildmates to pop over and battle it for their blue quality pet as well.

Use your Dalaran hearthstone and visit Breanni to begin. It would be a very quick chain, but the mobs you need to kill for keys (and they're not a guaranteed drop) spawn very slowly, hard to find any when there are a load of other players camping them.
Just doing the Tanaan pet battles for Fel Touched Pet Supplies, I've seen so many rare Fen Crabs. I've never done a regular pet battle in Tanaan and have 2 rare P/P and 1 rare H/H, just for variety sake, and have skipped so many more. ;m;
Fly into spiders watch, maldraxxus. Run up the higher path and thru the short tunnel to the Sepulchre of Knowledge, turn and go north to 42,20, cave entrance behind the bone building. Enter the cave and click the spinebug on the ground, pet is added directly to your collection (not inventory)
I farmed this pet ages ago and had 3 Uncommon (green). I recently went back to Naz to farm the other available pets and the. Chitterspine Skittering is showing up quite often as a Rare (Blue) secondary pet. I've seen it 4 or 5 times in less than half an hour of flying around battling. Long story short, don't bother doing this fight as primary!
This is still possible to purchase on Horde chars in 2020/BfA - just need to speak to Zidormi to go to Darkshore the way it used to be, then go to the cave to purchase.
I did this daily on 15 alts (72-80) the first day. 1 extra jingles, multiple toys. Day 2, Grunch dropped on my 6th alt (already got another Jingles too) Make sure you have the guild cloak that ports you back to sw or org after doing the quest. And use the fast transport by the quest giver to take you straight to the Greench. It's a quick daily that way.
