I have to admit I'm one of those who thinks this pup is cute.  I raised him to 25, and I'm quite impressed with what a hard little hitter he can be.  If he's fighting against a critter or beast, I have seem him kill in just two moves - burrow, then bite.  I'm sure there are probably better beast/critter pet battlers, I'm just giving this little guy his due.  If I'm leveling another pet, and know I'll be fighting critters and beasts, this little guy is on my team.

I'm one of those people in game who never seems to get lucky, lol.  Today was different!  I checked out Borean Tundra first, and she was right there.  No waiting! =D  

Some tips that might help -  Look at the map of the Borean Tundra, her spawn spot is exactly as pictured.  I used a level 25 Anubisath Idol (the Unborn Val'kyr was lvl 23), the idol is weak against her.  I hit her with crush just a few times, not strong enough to kill her, then she was low enough to capture quick.  The other two pets were cake to kill - a shore crab and a penguin.  I caught a poor quality one, but a blue battle stone can fix that.

Just a suggestion - it might help to try searching at an early hour - that's when I got mine.  It was 7am my time (Eastern), which would be 4am Pacific ("WoW time").

You wouldn't think this sleepy little panda would make a good battle pet, but since he's my favorite pet I had to try.  I've been very impressed by him - he can really smack hard, and he's the pet you want to use when battling other critters.  Plus he can Hibernate, to restore his health.  I have him at lvl 20 now, and just got "Rampage".  Love it!  Since my "pet trainer" is a Pandaren Priest, he looks great with her.  I just need a good name for him yet.
