Here are the steps you should try if you are having trouble finding one.

 

1. Try to find one outside Gnomeregan in the toxic airfield.

2. Start a lvl 1 Gnome and search for the pet in the starting area. 

3. Try killing all the critters in the starting area and toxic airfield to make new pets spawn.

4. If you still havent any luck you should try creating a lvl 1 Gnome on different servers to see if there should be a spawn on one of them.

I got him today for 10k on AH, i couldnt resist ;)

 

But yeah, as many mention in there comments: there are suddenly alot of these pets on AH! Can anyone explain why???
