Boy do I feel stupid... Found a poor quality one & didn't think to catch it, as I wanted to find a better one. :( Back to searching!
Edit: Looks like the WoW/RNG gods took pity on me for my earlier stupidity - after just 2 hours on-and-off searching, not only did I find another one, but it was a Rare!
Second Edit: Was flying over & saw TWO Minfernals up at the same time. Told my guild & 2 happy friends soon reported successful captures :)

Sadly when I went all the lvl5+ critters were dead or unco-operative; luckily, I found a solitary poor lvl4 Larva spawned near the ramp for Zul'Aman - good enough for now!
