I've been killing the small oozes mainly for the past hour and ended up with 2. The amount of kills for both pets was about 420 for just ooze's as I had 417 teeth; first at 200, second came somewhere around the 400-417 mark as it was a mass loot with small ones. I was also the only one out there farming and knocked out a few dailies since it was in that same area. GL to those tryin for it.
I didn't count the elites I had killed but it was prob about 15-20.
