Found 3 in one night of camping Borean Tundra (poor 80.8,48.2), Dragonblight (common 26.8, 54.0) and Zul'Drak (uncommon died due to haunt 75.2,23.0). The map is very helpful in determining good places to camp toons. I also had one in Storm Peaks and Crystalsong forest, but no luck there. Very excited to finally have this pet, now need a battle stone to upgrade. Happy hunting! :)
