Just got my Darting Hatchling. To add insult to injury, Dart happened to be there too, so I took him home as a hunting pet. When I first started hunting this pet, I wasn't sure on how the nest spawning worked. The nest spawns on its own. If Dart is in fact has a 5+ hr spawn trigger, I can tell you the spawn time of the nest is at least a few hrs shorter than that, but I am not sure how long it is yet. I have raided the nest twice today already, still after my rare version. I don't bother hunting around for where the nest spawns, I just park my Hunter in one spot and once in a while log in and see if a nest presents itself in front of me.
