I have always been a minipet collector, when Achievements came in it got worse. I was a late starter to battle pets, I am not as concerned about levelling all my pets, but in true Pokemon style, I gotta catch em all!
I think collecting these pets is addictive and contagious. There are now five members of our guild in the top 20 collectors of our realm.
