I'm looking for a fellow Horde pet collector on Alterac Mountains to swap Argent Tournament pets. I currently have Human, Gnome, Night Elf and Dwarf unlocked, and will be a few days away from unlocking Draeni. I will be able to trade 1 pet every 4 days (or all at once if you see this message any time after October 1st, or maybe even before that).
I'm currently working on getting the Champion Seals to buy my Dun Morogh Cub, as well as doing nearly the full set of Molten Front dailies to get my 30 marks for Zen'vorka's Cache for my shot at Searing Scorchling.
Past that, I don't really have much planned aside from getting the Turtle and balloon when the next DMF hits.

I play Saxonae, a Human Paladin, on Alterac Mountains. Since early 2012 I had been playing Dark Age of Camelot (daoc) for about 10 years straight. I spent a few months here and there trying out other games (including WoW where at one point I was in one of the top raiding guilds on Agamaggan as a healing druid in 2005ish). I finally decided to quit after realizing something I should have realized years ago, and that is that the game (daoc) is a shell of its former glory.
So, here I am. I've decided to stick to one character for this game, as I am a recovering 'alt-oholic'. In daoc I have over 100 level 50s (ML10, CL10, rr6+, etc), and 50ish battleground characters, and I refuse to invest that much time in a game like that again!
As far as my pet collecting goes, it has been pretty fun. It has taken me places I don't think I would have gone to otherwise, and it's a lot less expensive or luck based than collecting mounts!
I am very excited about the coming pet battle system. I played Pokemon as a kid, and it will be very exciting to feel the nostalgia of that game in an MMO setting. I do plan to 'catch them all', or at least as many as I can before MoP hits, but alas, I have had to exclude a few. Most of these are either pets that there is no possible way for me to attain, or pets that would set me back more than $25. Then again, I'm still hesitant to spend more than $5 on one in the first place.
