Hi, I have been playing wow since vanilla and collecting pets has always been on of my favorite activities. I run in spurts, getting several in a day and then going days without searching for any. I like to collect hunter pets on my hunter guy too!
I pretty much stick to playing on Silver Hand Horde now, though I did put a lot of time into Thorium Brotherhood Alliance as well.
Our Guild, the Ancients Misbehaving, is adding more and more pet activities for collecting pets. We also invite members from other horde guilds on the server to join in. We have a bank, held by our pet coordinator, full of a variety of pets that are "extras" collected by guildies and awarded during the events.
As guild leader, I notice our member positions in Warcraftpets for our server and strive to help registered members increase their collection and obtain achievements. Alliance is 4:1 on our server and has a quite a few more higher rated collectors than many of the horde side, though we do have some key players on the list. A group of us have taken up the motto "FOR THE HORDE" and are striving to outperform our alliance counterparts. My pets are listed under my Horde character, not my alliance one. But we have a quite a few mains or alts in our guild that are in the top 25 or 30 on the server overall. Come help us beat the Alliance!
