Never cared much for Pets during Classic and Burning Crusade. Once the Achievement system was put in my OCD hit overdrive and, well, I have a lot of pets now. With Pets being turned into spells it took very little time for me to wrack up a large number of them.
A guild mate pointed me to this website which I have since used to improve my collection. The addon is also incredibly lucrative in keeping the collection updated and accurate.
The Magic Crawdad was one I kept through BC. I referred to it as my "Lucky Crawdad" because whenever we were having difficulty on a boss, I would bring the Crawdad out, and the boss would die. Thus why it stays as my forefront pet for the profile.
I was lucky to have a good friend who gave me a Disgusting Oozling, for free, after they had spent 3000g on it. I offered to pay them for it, but they declined.
I have a decent size Mount collection as well.
