This strat is hilarious. Tedious... But hilarious.
Since the xp gets split between the leveling pets, I think I'll stick with my Blossoming Ancient/Infinite Whelp/Carry strat.
Still, it is fun to get to "phone it in" against one of the harder tamers around.

Re: Donna's "no-bs" WoD 6.1 Pet Tamer Guide
Gank any alliance here, there are always some afk by the flypoint. Rude and unnecessary. On Cymre, I highly recommend the Blossoming Ancient (2,2,2) in place of the crab, if you have one. The script is nearly the same, except that if you keep up Photosynthesis (helped by Wishbright's Sunlight too!)...

Re: Easy and quick squirt strat
I'll try this, but my 13-15 round strat is: Yu'La (1,2,1) Ghastly Kid (2,2,2) Carry (that can take 2-3 rounds of Tyri damage, and 1-2 rounds of Puzzle damage) 1. Breath 2. Breath 3. Breath 4. Celestial Blessing 5. Breath (Deebs dies) 6. Lift off (die) 7. Switch to Ghastly Kid, who gets the blessing ...

Re: Erris XP
Since there appears to be a mixture of some getting full exp and some not I'd like to ask the question about whether people actively used their levelling pet in combat. Was the pet just swapped in and then out again without using any abilities? Maybe there was a fix to combat the "free" turn abused...

Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon* (P/S 1 2 1) Ghostly Skull (H/P 1 1 2) Powerlevel Pet (300+ hp) * substitutions at bottom of post vs. Deebs: TAIL SWEEP til Deebs is dead (always takes 4) vs. Tyri: LIFT-OFF , then bring/swap in Ghostly Skull, use GHOSTLY BITE if Tyri is under 975 life, otherwise use SHAD...

Oh, and I definitely did not make up these teams and found them while either on this site or another. Many more creative types that figure out the teams than me. I'm just a copy cat :) Thanks for the Yon fight strategy! This works beautifully! Aki actually still works fine with the Idol, just can't...

I've not read any of the other entries, so hopefully I'm not duplicating anything. Special Snowflake - Elemental (changes shape each time it's summoned) - Melt: Nourishes other pets by sacrificing itself. Heals each other pet for half Special Snowflake's remaining health. - Crystalize: Ice crystals ...

Re: The Murkapult
Someone told me after the hotfix of the inspiration, actually it also created a monster team. Now that the inspiration buff is not a team wide buff anymore but rather will just stick on the pet you call up, well, if you murk will use inspiration and call in a valk. In that round which your valk wil...

Re: Any choice in Celestial Tournament questions
This thread has proven pet teams for each of the "undercard" tamers: http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7195
Each tamer has at least 10 different teams that work, so yes, you have a lot of choice in what pets you use to beat the tourney.

Re: Complete Celestial Tournament Walkthru and Pet list
Yep, just spend tens of thousands of gold on rare pets and at least $10 of real money and you too can win the Celestial Tournament!
Your guides are certainly comprehensive, but some of your strategies are out of reach of a lot of pet battlers.

I probably won't continue to do it after this week. Farming it for stones is really not worth it, and I never even use my xp buff food.

Re: very simple 2 pet combo for Tommy Newcomer
I've been knocking him over every day with: Darkmoon Tonk (Missile, Shock & Awe, Ion Cannon) Menagerie Custodian (Zap, Shock & Awe, Ion Cannon) whatever pet that never needs to come in. He doesn't award enough XP to really try carrying someone. Tonk leads with Ion Cannon. Oon swaps him out for the C...

I can't wait to see how the undercard this week works out with Murkalot. I know for a fact he'll make my Zao team that much better for sure.

Re: The Murkapult
To draw on my Explode thread, consider this: Singing Sunflower casting Sunlight, Swap to Murkalot whom inspires a HH Blackfuse Bombling. Whom then potentially detonates for 2166 damage! So you do "two" pet swaps to blow up ONE of their pets real good, and then you're sort of out of tricks for a few...

Re: Budget Celestials
I guess Bonkers would be considered a "drop," but he's nearly wild (and easier to get than an Unborn Val'kyr). He doesn't cost "real" money. I only mention it because he can solo Yu'La without needing to get Raiding with Leashes ;) I'd think you could include some quest pets... Is there anyone at al...

Re: Celestial Tournament Guide V. 1.0
This looks pretty comprehensive on the moves used by the various trainer pets, but it's very hard to read. It's not easy at all to pick out what your teams are for each one. I realize you probably exported this from a spreadsheet, and will probably work on the sections a little more. You probably wa...
