I use Proudmoore Alliance for my pet buying. It's fairly high pop and the prices there are pretty good. Pets sell pretty quickly when listed, but maybe not for as high prices as other servers, due to volume.

I'm a mount and pet collector, so I wouldn't sell my first mount. However, I personally think it's kind of ugly, so I'll be making the pets first.

And just to point out the obvious, but since it's so much easier to get now, the price is dropping like a rock. Don't overpay for this! But I think it is a mistake to think of only leveling one team at a time. I would level at least 6 pets if you are first starting. ( 6 different types). This allows you to not be at the mercy of stable master healers. When I first started, I mean from the very beginning.. I actually started with 4 ...

Why? It doesn't have any impact on you except to waste less than 30 seconds of your time and give you an easy win.
