As far as i know, what you got in Orgrimmar is a normal quest. You got it because you only did the alliance version so far. Same goes for all continents. As soon as you beat the master tamer on a continent and get the achievement, you should be able to accept dailies from the tamers on that continen...

After 5.0.4 hit I think I was at about 750. Then I started do delete if I had more than 3 of a kind. That brought me to about 370. After MoP that number went up because of the wild pets. I didn't want to delete more pets. So I asked my friends which of my duplicates were missing in their collections...

I created a deathknight for that purpose. Depends on if you want to level another toon or not.

Also FF user. When selecting the region for the petlist the servernames don't update.
