Lil' Ragnaros also has a pretty big weakness: Elemental only. He's got literally nothing but elemental attacks. He's not versatile in any way. Exactly. Same goes for the monk: Only humanoid attacks - and while he is pretty strong, there are other pets with similar or higher burst. What those two ar...

Even Undermine Journal doesn't log caged pets. I think there might be a technical issue with that, for some odd reason.Mawder wrote:This is something I hope Wowhead will start logging. I also hope they start logging caged pets auction house "Buyout Price".

Uh, guys, do keep in mind that once they've officially hotfixed a thing and acknowledged it as being unintended, trying to replicate it would almost certainly be considered exploting. This. As much as I dislike the "fix", trying to exit a battle but not despawn a pet isn't worth getting flagged for...

Re: Good Spots to Farm Battle-Stones?
I have gotten 2 Dragonkin stones from the Wild Serpent Hatchlings. Battled about 40 for the 2 stones, though force logged when one was a rare so as not to steal them from other collectors. Nice place to level your lower babies while you hunt for them too :) I was going to try my luck with...

Oh yeah. There needs to be SOME kind of incentive to use a pet's type attacks rather than some other type of pet to avoid the weaknesses.Mathew013 wrote: STAB - same type attack bonus.

The Hyacinth has always been a Rare pet in terms of battle pet quality. It's just the item that you learn it from that was epic.

Re: More appropriate times of day???
With Patch 5.1 they normalized all the times that things happen across North American servers. Everything is set up according to Pacific Time now. Midnight is midnight Pacific Time no matter what realm you are on. I'm pretty sure the same is true for Oceanic and European realms, but I have no idea ...

http://schaffhauser.me/Warcraft#PetList Load your character up on this. It'll tell you specifically what breed your pet, in particular, is. 3-12 male, 13-22 female, as the above poster said. This is awesome! I was using warcraftpets to find the breed ID but I still didn't know if it was male or fem...

Breeds 3 and 13 are the truly "balanced" breed IDs. Unfortunately those are also the ones that have the fewest extra stats over all.Avarre wrote:What about balanced stat ones? I usually go for those, guess i am screwed?
3 and 13 are inherently weaker than everything else.

Unique Pet Locations
Hey, I've been searching about and I haven't found anything. Is there a list, somewhere, of pets that are only found in one place? I'm rolling lowbie alliance toons, trying to collect the unique-to-starting-area pets, since they have level 95 guards and I don't wanna try to avoid them on my main. Ju...

This is semi-related to your post. I noticed that you've got Mini-Thor on there. According to Amazon, one of their official re-sellers has the SC2 collector's edition in stock. It's 200 bucks, but you could probably get Mini-Thor if you really, really want it. Also the other SC2 crap. Oh, and I coul...
