Re: Pet number 500!
I'm at 499 pets but let my subscription lapse to take a WoW break. Should've tried harder getting to 500 before then I guess

Re: Cool way to get a Minfernal
Got my Minfernal with the Flightpath trick, but with a twist. After logging in on my pet-camp character, I took a flightpath from Felwood to Darkshore to try the trick on the way back. While on the flightpath (so still in the Felwood CRZ), I saw a Minfernal on the map already. Immediately logged out...

Re: Experimental, High Risk, High Reward
I wonder if the increased chance to hit also works for the secondary effect (in your example: Anubisath Idol's Rupture. A nice 75% chance stun on your last Uncanny Luck round, possibly facilitating switching back to Mr. Wiggles to refresh the buff.

Re: CONTEST: Pet Tips for Mini Tyrael!
[pet]Landro's Lil' XT[/pet] is a great asset if you want to level a pet but don't want to push too many buttons: using Heartbroken followed by Tympanic Tantrum allows you to nearly wipe out an entire team of beasts, such as frequently found it Jade Forest.

Re: Which mechanical to upgrade?
Clock' em is already rare upon acquisition, so no need to save a stone for that one (the invites should be very affordable on the Black Market Auction House by now btw).
My suggestion for an upgrade would be the Tranquil Mechanical Yeti, as he is actually pretty useful in combat.

Re: Any way to filter for strong abilities vs a specific fam
I assume you mean the fight against tamer [link eaten by forum], who actually uses 2 undead ([link eaten by forum], [link eaten by forum])and 1 dragonkin ([link eaten by forum]). To look for attacks that are super effective against those pets, you'll need attacks of the Critter family (against undea...

Doesn't the [link eaten by forum]Ancient Portal: Dalaran[/link] get you very close? If you can find a willing mage to cast both Feather Fall and a portal for each of your active toons, that should speed things up considerably. It was a very long trip to and from Ironforge

Re: Raiding with Leashes Achievement Progress..
Don't think there's a mage soloing guide up yet, so here goes: MC - Nothing special AQ40 - Viscidus : Used the fast [link eaten by forum]white dagger from Dalaran[/link], dual [link eaten by forum]Barov Peasant Caller[/link], Icy Veins, Timewarp. Perpaps a bit overkill, but gets the job done :) BWL ...

Re: Invincible combination
The best way to counter a weather effect is to override it with a low cooldown weather effect of your own. Mudslide seems the perfect candidate in your case, with Pandaren Earth Spirit as the most likely candidate, using Stone Rush and Rupture as the other two abilities (high burst and Stone Rush ca...

Re: Not thrilled with some of the changes
Although I agree these changes are an annoying nerf to these abilities, both Build Turret and Reflection are still valuable abilities and the behaviour before the change did seem a bit strange (Reflecting a heal? Shooting a burrowing pet?).

Re: Using Farmer Nishi to level
A lot less pet-intensive is to boost 2 low levels at the same time and use a single high level pet that can solo all opponents. I use a breed 4 rare level 25 [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/aquatic/crustaceans/emperor-crab/]Emperor Crab[/url] with Surge, Renewing Mists and Whirlpool, but a...

Re: Darkmoon Crow and Glowfly FIXED!!
Still looking for a rare Crow myself as he's got a pretty interesting moveset, basically a Gilnean Raven without the need for a Battle Stone. OT: Prohibiting links to other sites was actually a pretty common occurance about 15 years ago, before webmasters figured out free flow of information is bene...

Re: Needed Opinion
Rough prize estimate on my realm would be, for level 1 pets:
Darkmoon rabbit: 65k
Landro's Lil XT: 45k
Spectral Kitten: haven't seen one yet
Soul trader: 90k
Of course AH prices for pets are pretty oddball, but I'd say that's a seriously lousy deal.
