For the beast family I saw a suggestion to use a Scalded Basilisk Hatchling (2,2,1), Fel Pup (2,2,2), and Thaumaturgical Piglet (2,2,2).
A record of 11-1 later (and the 1 was a screw up on my part in the first battle), I'm almost wishing I didn't already have the 5000 win achievement .

Re: How to collect your Globe Yeti
I got one on the first day with a little competition, and then last night I wandered into Ironforge and one was just running around in the globe with no one around.
So it appears to be getting pretty easy as the holiday goes on.

Re: More pvp pet achieves please!
I'd like to see an achievement for battling with three pets randomly selected for you. So the emphasis is on thinking on your feet to counter whatever pops up for the other person. Maybe put in the ability to change/confirm what pet is going first before the battle starts.

Re: Raring Pets and Molten Corgi and regrets
I never got the Vampiric Batling from Karazhan back in TBC. I was unguilded at the time but there were many daily PuG raids on the place which I just couldn't bring myself to join. Still annoyed at myself for that one. That is my main regret. I ran Karazhan many times and could have easily gotten i...

Re: Most Versatile Pet
Wondering about peoples comments on the most versatile pet as far as battling wild pets and tamers etc. I know some will jump on the [pet]Anubisath Idol[/pet] but I have never enjoyed that pet as it seems like a slow battler. ... I don't think of it so much as wanting a versatile pet but as wanting...

Thank you. I ran the normal dungeon *ahem* last evening and thought it was fun. I was overthinking the Challenge Mode.
Yes, all you need is enough pets at 25.

Re: Wailing Critters - What did you think?
I thought it was pretty repetitive, without being particularly challenging. If you have a lot of pets at 25, I can't imagine why you would want a guide through it.
I'll do it enough to get all the pet drops, then hope for something better.

I wish they did more pets like this.
I'm pretty lazy about leveling things like archaeology and fishing since it is so boring, but a pet as a reward is a nice incentive. I leveled fishing fast while working on the pet to buy from Margoss.

Re: Kirin Tor emissary freebee
Thank goodness for the hotfix cos those Like the Wind quests were hellish! But 6 hand ins and no Wisdomball makes me sad :( just my luck! I did 5 hand in and NO pet. Looks like they DID NOT increase the drop rate for the pet, but severely lessened the Kirtor appearing, AND made HELL quest Like the ...

Have anyone else experienced that the plots doesn't finish at the same time? I plant both plots at the same time (or at least within 5seconds of each other), yet sometimes one plot is finished while the other isn't.. It can take up to a few hours until the other plot is ready for harvest.. And stil...

Re: Random pet battle team
I would love to have an addon to pick three random battlepets for me It would be fun, and add an opportunity to get back in touch with many long overlooked pets, and might even encourage me to get back onto those pvp achievements. I do pick random pets manually now and again, but the novelty wears ...

Re: Xu-Fu's Pet Battle Strategies
Its a great site for the purpose of consolidating strategies and having a single-point entry. The downside is to my experience that most of the strategies are garbage. You usually end up reading the comments and following their advice instead. Better than scouring wowhead pages thats for sure. I ha...

Yeah, but it's still two against three. I can't remember ever losing to one.Biscuit wrote:The Plushie is literally a tank that can free swap and soak up any "big hit" combos ie. Iron Starlette.JEC wrote:I have to say, I don't get why someone would bring a plushie into a match.

Re: I have to call out someone.
I have to say, I don't get why someone would bring a plushie into a match. If I see that, my main thought is that they are just trying to get wins by opponents fleeing out of boredom. I occasionally run into someone with three of them with names that equate to something like have a free win, and I d...

What's in your bags?
Just for fun, I compiled a list of all of the caged pets I have hanging around in the bank bags of my characters. Once in a while I grab a couple, level them, and put them on the AH, although many are over abundant. What's in your bags? Teroclaw hatchling x2 Crimson spore Firewing x2 Sun sproutling ...

I've noted in the past that you can do pretty well with a snake, a rabbit, and something that flies.
