Re: Hardest trainers to two pet for Trunks?
CVF can actually be done quite easily. I came up with a team on the first night he was available that has worked with great consistency for me. I use a Bronze Whelpling (P/S) and Iron Starlette (H/H) - pretty much any breeds can work for those pets, but those two are ideal. A couple of people have c...

WTT Frostwolf Pup and Bone Wasp for alliance equivalents
Title says it all, I'm looking to trade Frostwolf Pup and Bone Wasp for their alliance equivalents: Draenei Micro-Defender and Sky Fry. Please post if interested.

Re: 2 pet Christoph VonFeasel anyone?
There's two threads in this forum with a couple of 2-pet strats for him.

Have you looked at those, or are you saying you don't have the pets for them?

Re: Cristoph von Feasel
That is very clever, Narish, definitely looks like an improvement over the Whelpling/Starlette team. Most importantly, because you get your speed buff from the Pup, you save a turn for the Starlette by not needing to Powerball. That gives you one extra turn of life for the Starlette, and therefore a...

Re: An Awfully Big Adventure
My goal from the beginning was to come up with a carry-pet-safe strat, so all my tests are for that. I tried out my Jade and Thundering Serpent Hatchlings in the first slot today, and it doesn't look like it works as well. Out of 4 tries, on 3 of them the extra damage procs from Call Lightning were ...

Re: Question about Elekk Plushie
From everything I've read, do not have to swap the Elekk Plushie in for the battle to count for An Awfully Big Adventure. There's a separate achievement for getting the plushie to max level, but there's more than enough tamer battles that are completely safe for the carry pet to accomplish that alon...

Re: An Awfully Big Adventure
Ya, that's what I figured on the whelpling. P/P hits harder on Syd but can't get Early Advantage in on Mr. Pointy before he shields. S/S can do the full Early Advantage but may come up short on Syd. H/S can do the best of both, while also adding a bit of extra hp over either one, which may (no actua...

Re: An Awfully Big Adventure
I'm pretty irritated that as of right now, Lil' XT is the only pet that can handle Christoph Feasel for a 2-pet strategy, because he is a store pet. (3 pet he is easy) Ok, someone did mention my thread with the Bronze Whelpling/Iron Starlette strat. (thanks, btw) Regarding breed for the whelpling, ...

Re: Cristoph von Feasel
I did this with a P/P Bronze Whelpling and H/H Starlette. I think the S/S Bronze Whelp might actually be better. The direhorn can sometimes cast the shield on the first round (happend to me) and the early advantage doesn't do much. Was tail sweep maxing out on Syd for you with the S/S? After doing ...

Re: Good team for leveling other pets in the wild?
My favourite spot for levelling off wild pets is the Vale (I love that spot by No-No), and I normally use my Guardian Cub and Magical Crawdad. The Guardian Cub essentially does all the work; Onyx Bite, Wild Winds, and Reckless Strike wrecks both the aquatic and flying pets out there. The Crawdad is ...

Cristoph von Feasel
It looks like the newest member of the Darkmoon Faire pet team is up with this month's faire, so what teams have you found success with against him to level a carry pet? After a little experimenting, I was able to get him with a team of, ironically, all post-6.0.2 pets. Bronze Whelpling (2,1,1) (H/S...

Re: What PVP team comps are you currently running?
I'm a creature of habit; I've had the same go-to team for the last few months. Emperor Crab(P/P) (2,2,1) Stunted Direhorn (1,1,1) Anubisath Idol (1,1,1) Nothing all that flashy, no real fotm pets (I didn't get my Direhorn until 5.4). Just a really nice, balanced, resilient team that also has some ni...

Re: New WoD tamers and how to beat them with only two pets
Just out of curiosity, Chibimage, is that video supposed to have sound? Otherwise, great work. Really looking forward to trying these strats out. Make sure that you have sound enabled for it, I haven't checked that particular video, but lately I have had lot of issues with youtube videos being mute...

Re: 5.4 Guide to Master Tamer (levelling) + Beasts of Fable
I've been doing the tamer circuit (though not the BoF) pretty much every night since the patch, and so far it seems like all the strats still work just as well as they did pre-patch. The accuracy changes mainly seemed to just eliminate the frustration of losses due to miss streaks. Some of the fight...

Re: Anubish Idol
The only tamer I use Anub for is Burning Pandaren Spirit (I use him to wreck the dragon and deflect the fire spirit's first conflag, then I swap him out, and bring him back in at the end since Stoneskin blocks anything the firefly can do). The only difference I've noticed is that it sometimes does t...

Re: PetBattleTeams addon and tomorrow's launch
Since the patch, I've been using Rematch instead of my usual Pet Battle Teams, and I just keep thinking that if someone could combine the best features of both, it would be the ultimate pet mod. I love Rematch's feature that allows you to set teams for npc tamers and then automatically switch to tho...

Re: Endangered crabs
I have never really been a huge fan of surge because it does so puny damage. Like I am pretty sure if you end up in a crab vs crab fight using surge it would never end as shell shield + healing wave would negate all the damage you do to each other... A battle between two crabs with Surge will, in f...
