Just got my 925th pet (Cross Gazer), I think I can get to 930 before they put more pets in...

Maybe adding more randomness to the battles would help. If you didn't know which openers you were going to get, or when a swap would happen - that would make people actually have to think about which moves to use.

If I had to choose, I'd pick the Crawling Claw. It might not be the best looking pet or have the best fighting moves, but it's been my constant companion ever since found him.

It would be great to have something to play Rock, Paper, Scissors with (and to fetch me the occasional beer!).

If it's somebody you trust and they trust you, they could cage a pet to give to you. Then you can level it, cage it and pass it back.

You could put a gold value on them. Then you could offer to upgrade fellow collectors cageable pets for a fee. I would certainly pay a hundred or so to get a rare upgrade without having my own stone. The buyer would need to trust you because they'd have to give you the pet so you could stone it.

I fished for 2hrs last night and caught 4. Skill was over 1000, but I can't remember the exact figure. I wish I had your luck!
