Hi I'm just returning to the game after a 3 year break and I'm having an issue with killing pets I'm trying to catch. I think I remember an ability that wouldn't kill a pet in battle. Just bring it to 1hp. Am I wrong about this or did the move get removed? If its still in game what pets have it?

ive gotten 4 or 5 of them over the last 2 weeks and ive been using them on the pets that cannot be caught. I use them on beasts or critters cause it takes more stones to make them all rare whereas dragons and humanoids i only need a couple stones each to be done with.

something i noticed is what about lift off? if 2 pets use it shouldnt the first pet miss all the time?

I thought that if the opposing pet does more damage than what ur pet will res at it doesnt get ressed. That seems to be the case whenever it happens to me but i could be wrong
