Re: Reflect = O M G
I didn't read all the posts, but I will chip in and say this ability is complete BS and needs to be nerfed heavily. When people can faceroll their way to victory using 3 pets with this skilless ability enough is enough. It should reflect instances of damage period, not buffs/heals/etc. and ONLY ONE...

Not entirely sure I'd see a B/B as being subpar to a S/S on a Flying pet.Finkployd wrote:b/b imo. All b/b will have less stats then their competitor. The s/s will have the full use of its stats.Zheron wrote: That being said, which of these WOULD be considered the "sub-par" breed?

Re: Good pet-catching skills
I'm looking for skills that will help me catch other pets. Particularly like the ability "False Swipe" in Pok- uh, that other monster-collecting game. That ability allows you to hit any creature, and that creature will be reduced to 1 HP rather than knocked out if you significantly outlevel it. I'd...

The family specific stones aren't bugged and are not changing breeds. The bug with breed changes was occurring with non-family specific flawless stones - the BoE type.

Re: +attack vs -defense: numbers wrong??
Hmm, true , I am mixing things up: The + attack is from an ability vs a pet family and the –defense is against ability family from any pet. Question remains if my assumption still stands though: For example I have a humanoid that is standing against a pet with undead abilities. That means that this...

Re: Things you'd like to see change in PBs
Pet specific passives that can be learned by your battle pets (with restrictions). Example being something like "Wonder Guard" in Pokemon where only Super Effective moves would hit. However, in this case I would design it such that only Strong attacks hit and hit for double damage (and ignore all ot...

Re: +attack vs -defense: numbers wrong??
It feels like you're two things as different that are really the same. When a pet has a weakness or defense vs a certain type, it is against an attack of that type not a pet. For example, a mechanical engages a beast. The mechanical uses a non-mechanical attack. The beast does not take any extra dam...

Re: Reflection -- how does it work?
Even weirder, and you have probably witnessed this yourself, if a pet that used Reflection dies on the turn in which it used Reflection (due to DoTs), the dead pet will STILL reflect whatever ability came its way.

Correct!Quintessence wrote:Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe each stands for the following:

S = speed
H = health
B = balanced (??)
So for a "P/S", it would mean Power/Speed....? Err, right?

Re: Breed ID acronyms ?
I was a avid collector prior to MoPs release (160+ pets then) and now that I have time I'm loving the whole pet battle aspect of the game. I have been reading the forums here for a while now and have been seeing a lot of people commenting on get breed ID 4, 7, 8 etc for certain pets. I understand t...

Re: Molten Hatchling - S/S or P/S?
From what I understand, battle stones may change your pet's Breed ID, so don't count on that too much. Better off farming the rare. Based on several experiences mentioned on this forum and my own personal experiences, I think type specific battle-stones are safe to use without resulting in a breed ...

Re: Increased chance to miss at lvl 25?
I've noticed that all my pets with multiple attack attacks (younglings triple-snap, kalari's Quill's) almost never hit more than once. Even my kalari's when she goes first should be a guaranteed 2 hits usually only gets one. I understand missing once in a while but I seem to miss attacks very very ...

Wish is already a 5 turn cooldown ability, so Nevermore would be wasted on it, unfortunately. Though, Call Darkness and/or Darkflame would be decent counters for the healing done.
