Re: Crimson Moth
Yeah, just noticed this. It isn't listed on the database and I just caught one in Northern Stranglethorn.

Re: Soul of the Aspects
This was all but confirmed with the big brother being a mount on the pet store. Unique pets are unique, regardless of the method of obtainment. Unexpected surprise to come home to!

Re: MoP Beta - Darkmoon Rabbit
They've implemented raid exclusive pets before (two of them currently) and there are a few dungeon boss drop ones as well. I wouldn't be so sure they won't do it again here, but I do think we haven't seen the full extent of it yet given the additional HHG item datamined and the name of the achieveme...

Re: MoP: Goldfish in a bubble?
I doubt he's activated yet, a lot of the pet stuff hasn't been implemented yet. Let's face it, it's not part of the core game for most people and not a major selling point. We'll see more stuff in the coming few months I'm certain.

Re: MoP: Goldfish in a bubble?
I'd expect a lot more aquatic pets now that they're making common use of the bubble pets recently. Baby Shark may finally make his return after all!

Re: MoP pets and changes
Just in general. New pets that come to exist or not are first saw through datamining. I have always been interested in this field and during Cata's beta I frequently updated findings for new companions in the files, just wondering if there's any sort of necessary hush hush on this board for them (Bl...

How kosher is it to discuss datamined stuff on the boards again?

Re: Three events at once is two too many
Wow. I'll just take my "collection" and go home then. You sure told me. No offense intended, but this is partly why people over on the official forums get annoyed with pet collectors. They feel we believe we are entitled to everything and don't feel we are interested in doing anything to actually a...

I have all the living pets now, next up an object of some sort, not sure which of them I'll go with.

Re: Three events at once is two too many
If you make the commitment and want to call yourself a "collector" of any type, I think you have to be willing to do the work and put in the time. Otherwise, everyone is a "collector". Collectors are supposed to be special breeds, I don't want anything just handed to me and I would prefer it not be ...

Re: WoW TCG - MMO Champion Statement
Yeah, MMOC typically doesn't provide the finer details of pet situations like these. They just datamine and post what they find. It will be "available" in their view because it will exist on the live server, much like as of 4.3 the grell and scarab exist on the live server (and countless other pets ...

Re: WoW TCG - MMO Champion Statement
Could be that these items are far into the future. If that's true, the pet and mount probably won't be available until after two more TCG expansions are released. As far as I know, the two pets associated with the next two expansions are the grell and a scarab pet. These items were datamined some ti...

Re: Coins of Ancestry
Those with no luck on getting trades worked out, check the neutral AH too. I saw one there for 10000g on my server earlier, much less than what was being asked by the main AH. Still very expensive for a pet though, but just a thought.

Re: Coins of Ancestry
Old coins do work, yes. I already have my pet and a spare one to trade. I just need to find someone to trade with... check your e-mails or the forum, Aggramar Horde people >_>
That said, I saw the Festival Lantern up on Alliance AH. Only 44000g, is that all?!

Re: Coins of Ancestry
I actually have a stack of 75 of these still. I realized it was an event that had no pets, so I decided to save the tokens for a rainy day. I wonder if they will count though, or if the currency is changing to something with a new id.

Re: What do you think will happen to duplicate pets?
I doubt they will turn pets into one item across every character because that will give you unfair advantages in pet battles. Though if they did they, I'm sure you would still retain the same leveled pet across all your characters so while it might feel like you're "losing" pets, all your characters...
