Any mechanical, but mostly the clockwork gnome. The turret does insane damage for a DoT and with the repair and mechanical racial you basically have to kill it twice. And now that they changed the way cooldowns work you can get multiple repairs in one fight, all the while the turret is murdering you...

And yes I can confirm it's still in the game, I have 2 myself. They are caught in both stranglethorn areas. So far I have only encountered them as secondary pets, this might be the only way to catch them.

I'm trying to catch the baby ape, which is only in southern stranglethorn when it rains. Does anyone know if there's some kind of pattern on the whole weather thing? Or is it completely random? I can't speak for everyone, but RNG loot in pet battles is the last thing I want to see. Do you really want to farm pet masters over and over for a pet like how people farm dungeon bosses for mounts? Do you realize some people have been farming low drop chance mounts for years without ever seeing it...

Another problem with the pet trading is reputation pets, for example the nether ray fry needs exalted with the skyguard, and if you get exalted you can just buy a bunch cheap from the vendor and sell them to people who can't be bothered farming rep....or even for the vendor price to friends or guild...

Interesting that Blood Parrot and Coyote Spirit are included on that list. Perhaps there's hope that they will be finally freed from their item prisons. Don't forget the Scourge Haunt! I imagine my spare haunted memento's will be worth much more if it becomes a real pet that can be used in battles.

TBH I don't see the problem with making blizzcon/TCG pets tradeable, it's not like there's gonna be loads of mini tyraels on the AH for 10k...it will still be rare and worth alot. In fact the exact same thing happened with the TCG mounts already, they are tradeable now but still very rare, you don't...
