Now they just need to extend this to all store-bought and crafted pets. Hunting wild pets looking for the desired breed is fine, but "farming" a vendor hoping to get lucky or having to repeatedly craft something is silly.

It's frustrating to see so little variety in the Pet Families that the elite pets use. I'm sick of stomping critters and beasts and aquatics. How about some humanoids and mechanicals and undead?

This is the only way to get something like this. Check a few times a day, just a few minutes each time. You will inevitably get the pet and without any frustration.

When you first load a pet battle it can show the color and stats from the last pet you battled before switching over to what the new pet actually is. You're not losing out, it's just taking a moment to show you the real information.

I guess it's strong but it kills SO DARN SLOW. Feels like it takes forever to beat trainer pets because of all the rounds spent healing instead of attacking and the low damage attack. I'd rather go with a less powerful pet and a much faster fight (flayer youngling and lil' deathwing being my choices...

I've read that there's a bug which causes a new Mr. B to spawn in your pet journal every time you log in (or maybe it's every day). It stops at 3 because that's the maximum you can have. Yeah, last night was the first time I took advantage of it and it was pretty boring. You're right, plain old wild battling (or rotating through trainers) is plenty fast.

If you have any alts that can survive the runs, just park them in front of the various trainers, especially Winterspring and Karazhan. Flayer Younglings are superb and also a huge pain to camp so while you *could* catch a rare one of the right breed (I prefer breed 4 aka all power) it's far less aggravation (though can still take a while) to just get the breed you want and then stone it.
