Re: LF easy PVP team
Teroclaw Hatching and Anubisath Idol are two pets with very high power level that are simple to use and pretty much plug-and-play into most teams. Ghastly Kid, Fiendish Imp and Teroclaw Hatching is my go-to if I want to play something dull, but strong.

Re: FelBat still available.....
They will likely stay in the 1k range or even lower for at least another year. A lot of people have stockpiled them, as it seemed like a good long term investment given that they're technically no longer obtainable (as in, there is no way to generate shards anymore). However, actual scarcity (and th...

Re: What will be the new OP in PvP Pet battling?
Typically potential problem pets are the ones that enable broken combos, like Murkalot with Righteous Inspiration. The game already has a lot of powerful pets in all sorts of categories, so I doubt we'll see a lot of new pets outshine our current set in terms of raw power or stronger movesets. Look ...

Re: 2 Pet Strategies for Tarr the Terrible
I use Fossilized Hatchling (2, 1, 2) and Graves (1, 2, 2) for this fight. Spam BONESTORM on cooldown and keep healing with Ancient Blessing until the FH goes down, swap in your leveling pet, then Graves and do the same again with Grave Destruction and Consume Corpse.

Re: Heal'n'Hurt: Warcraft Pets!
I heal Xu-Fu, because aesthetically it's the coolest pet in the game (and I wish he was more useful). I hurt the Teroclaw Hatchling, because seriously, screw that pet. Dust Bunny: 25 Frostfur Rat: 26 Perky Pug: 26 Shimmershell Snail: 25 Stinker: 25 Cornish Rex Cat: 25 Moon Moon: 25 Xu-Fu, Cub of Xue...

Re: Elfuego's Tirs and Fiero Scrappin Daily Strategy
Hi, Please be careful with these directions. They are incorrect and no longer viable in some cases. The PWS information is now incorrect and not usable as mentioned, and should be replaced/removed. First of all, the post is a year and a half old. Let's assume people know how to look at timestamps. ...

Pet not resurrecting after haunt
This has been happening to me on occasion after the patch, but I can't seem to find any consistency as to when or why. When it happens, it's usually if the opposing pet was killed by something other than the haunt ability, but as said it doesn't happen consistently. Anyone have similar experiences o...

Re: Current PVP Meta
With the nerfs to aoe in general and undeads in particular, I expect disruption based strategies to rise to the top and humanoids to return. Pets like Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Death Adder Hathling, Fiendish Imp, Flayer Youngling and Nightshade Sproutling (to name a few) will likely become the new...

Re: What's the fastest way to boost lvl 1 pets without train
I level a batch to 4 in Stormwing, then I go to an alt near Gorespine in Dread Wastes and farm there. This way I get a lot of alt exp as well. The setup I use is Murkalot and a P/P Blackfuse Bombling. Open with the carry pet and do anything. Switch to Murkalot, use Righteous Inspiration and then Arm...

Use auctionator and make a shopping list with the pet you're missing. Makes the AH check quick and trivial.

Many, many rounds. It's reliable, but incredibly slow. Chrominius + Pandaren Water Spirit any day for me, done in a few rounds.

Re: Pet teams 101
Going to second that part about synergy. I have a team based around the 'Chilled' effect and I've had some great success with (surprisingly). None of the three pets are really that special, but when you have three pets that can greatly benefit from that specific weather condition and two pets that c...

Re: Need a Sudden Death mechanic?
A healing/control oriented team is not inherently a problem, as long as it has the intention of killing the enemy in some fashion. I can definitely see how Jabarts team plays out and I don't have a problem with it, though I wouldn't play the team myself (I loathe extremely defensive playstyles, just...

Re: Budget Celestials
Actually, the game does need to punish "those with lives" to a certain degree, otherwise it can never reward those "without a life". Fact is, those who invest more time and have more skill than the average should be rewarded for that, otherwise there is just no incentive to be good. As a former "no-...

Personally I choose which purpose I use the pet for and rate it based on that.

Re: Idol/crawdad teams
It's not that the team has to be hard to beat, it's just that you need certain elements in your team if you want to have any hope of winning in a reasonable amount of time. Idol/crawdad does force you to have certain elements in your team to reliably beat. But so do a lot of other teams. And idol/c...

To my knowledge there isn't an addon that does that, though you could always leave a suggestion for the guy who develops PetJournal Enhanced, he seems really responsive to feedback. Right now your best bet is to use wowhead (or the filters on this website).

It's not that the team has to be hard to beat, it's just that you need certain elements in your team if you want to have any hope of winning in a reasonable amount of time. Playing double/triple healing teams is a dick move, I'll be honest. If there were actual stakes and it was actually performing ...

Re: a good pvp team?
Fair enough, but what are you looking for in the results? A teams performance can depend on a lot of things, but mainly it's actually the battlegroup you play against (or if it's server only, I can't remember). However, my point is that you should provide a bit more info about what you are looking f...

Re: a good pvp team?
Your team has very limited control and the big burst combos are predictable and easy to counter for a lot of teams. The val'kyr being what it is can probably carry the team reasonably well, but there's not really a lot of synergy to the team and the two other pets don't really enhance the val'kyr in...
