Re: Finally All my pets are rare!!!! - Pet Charm Question
On my server xmog is a waste of time to sell to earn gold, and even though I have a lot of lvl 100's (18) to crank out gold via missions, I still use pets to sell on the AH to make gold to buy gametime tokens. So, I use my charms to lvl popular pets to 25, since those sell better. I still have like ...

Re: Hard hitting critters?
I had a triple frog team that had P/P frogs, that saw a few forfeits by Graves teams. Frogs have 2 critter attacks with Swarm and Tongue Lash, and undead damage is weak vs Aquatic pets. Plus, they have a heal which is rare among critters. But the mentioned Red Cricket is a great choice, if you want ...

Re: Levelling up: Account-wide quests
As to the OP, are you trying to lvl your toon fast and safe? I take any toon I want to lvl and park them at No-No. There are 7 golden civets there, in VERY close walking distance to each other and ZERO threat of roaming mobs to kill you, only a mild threat of being ganked on a PvP server, and by the...

Re: Levelling up: Account-wide quests
My question is slightly off topic but it does relate to account-wide quests. Did anyone else get a bug today for the 10 level up stones where you could complete it twice? I accepted it on an Alliance character, then changed over to do my Horde menagerie dailies and logged back over to Alliance and ...

Re: Celestial Tournament
2. You can heal pets inside the Tournament provided they're still alive. Put a team healer like Terrible Turnip in the first slot, and your walking wounded in the back line. Challenge Zao, use your team heal, forfeit. Repeat until your injured pets are back to full health. I'm surprised they didn't...

Re: How did you rate pets?
I am in a similar boat. I have a handful rated. Usefulness, looks, OP'ness in PvP, they all seem to have their merits in contributing to the ratings. I guess any pet I have in my 'favorites' list so they show up in my garrison should be a 5, I guess. Every rat/roach/moth/wasp/rabbit/crab/.... that t...

Re: Must Haves for Newbies
I would point out that 2 important pets to have are the Terrible Turnip and a turkey of some sort for a capture team. The turnip cannot kill a wild pet ever with weakened blow (though a misused DoT will), and a turkey's food coma can prevent a low health pet from suiciding with a self damage ability...

Re: Farm Rockbiter, Acidtooth and Stonechewer daily for XP
I did my homework on these guys, and looked at all the pets with pump, to find the one with most power AND speed to take these guys on, and of all pets, Fishy is the winner, hands down. With his combo of 260+ (at 273) to be faster than Bonechewer, and his 273 power, and since it isn't overkill, some...

Re: Thinking of giving away some pets...
I was doing the holiday event on my Tauren, collecting coins for the heirloom tokens, when I saw an NE from another server doing a pet battle near the Elder in Silithus. I /cheer'ed her, and then logged out and made an alliance NE on her server and offered to give her some pets to help her out with ...

I just use ole reliable. PWS>Geyser>Whirlpool>PWS dead>carry pet(low XP but still 'some')>Chrominius>howl>Surge of Power>Eleanor dead>undead round>recharging>WIN!! ^^It is sad this is SOOO overused, but it works. Same with Stitches Jr. Carry pet first, then same ole same ole, carry has to take a few...

Re: Squirt in Garrison Days
I use a MPD, and any spider faster than Tyri and Puzzle, short of crits, this works fine, but it does require your pet to be high enough health to absorb some of the cleaves, which is why I assume you use Weebs.

Re: Noob needs some help....
I hate to say that most of the advice here, though helpful, is WAY WAY overkill for the asked question, and could borderline on confusing. If someone is new to pet collecting, and not yet into the pet battle PvP metagame, most of the advice is superfluous. Also, stuff like strategizing on which pets...

Re: Pebble! - Getting the quest every day
I could be mistaken, but most of these types of achievements are per toon, not per account. I was actually surprised when trying to get the lvl 3 Goblin Workshop, that using the devices on separate toons worked towards the end completion. I had used the grenade launcher like 14 times on one toon, an...

Re: Merging Battle.net Accounts
Working two separate accounts under a single Battle.net logon comes with one of those minor annoyances that can be maddening at times. Scenario, Husband & Wife: Wife logs onto Battle.net then Husband logs on. Wife now gets informed that "Your Battle.net account has logged in somewhere else" and has...

Re: Merging Battle.net Accounts
I would not recommend merging accounts. No matter how close you two are, sometimes having your own space to log on your character without any restrictions is worth it, and will be worth the extra $14 a month (really not much). Each separate account on one bnet STILL costs $15 a month. So, it still ...

Re: Merging Battle.net Accounts
Okay, I have 'some' experience with merging accounts, albeit it was mostly before all the account wide stuff happened when I did most of it. To the best of what I recall, account 1 that had say one character with a red whelpling and account 2 that had the Cenarian hatchling, they both got them, but ...

Re: I want a Darkmoon Eye so badly
Also, in the PTR/beta that offered the chauffeured mount, an opposing faction toon could be flagged PvP and the mount driver would attack you, even in the santuary portion of the island. I assume this got fixed, but you never know.
