Re: Soloying Lady Vashj
Hunter here, around 510 Vashj: took her on as BM (my deafult spec) with a spirit beast (my default pet), spirit bond and such 2nd phase - don't bother killing normal elementals, you won't be able to kill everything by yourself AND keep an eye out for tainted ones. - /tar tainted macro is your friend...

Re: PTR - Unborn Val'kyr
@Dakender
Yes, but the place where the pet has been reported to be seen (at the foot of ICC) is quite a bit away from Hildana's spawnpoints. Maybe they spawn at the same time, but in those two locations, far away from each other.

Re: PTR - Unborn Val'kyr
Somehow, the thought of Hildana, the rare valkyr spawn from Icecrown ( http://www.wowhead.com/npc=32495 ) tickles my senses here. Hildana has black wings. The pet is "unborn" and has white wings. Maybe she's Hildana's missing "counterpart"? Maybe they spawn together? And it would fit the tweet: "......

Re: CONTEST: Pet Tips for Mini Tyrael!
Little Black Ram is a pretty useful pet you can get early on. At lvl10 he learns a powerful 2-turn attack called Chew , but he doesn't reach his full potential till lvl20, when he gets Stampede . To combine those two abilities into a deadly combo use Chew first, and then Stampede , which will apply...

Re: Help with Outlands Grand Master
Right now I'm still farming him with a Clockwork Gnome (skills 111) and Magical Crawdad (skills 222), although I plan to replace them with Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and Emperor Crab as soon as they catch a few more levels. I start with the gnome vs. the magical pet, and go with standard Gnome r...

Re: 5.2 PTR: Massive changes inbound for fan favorites
Is anyone actually on the PTR? If so, can anyone share how much XP a pet battle (PvE) is giving to under 90s? OK, replying to myself, finally got enough of the PTR client DL'd to log on. Level 85, full rested, using 3 level 1 cats against level one wild pet is netting 49,448xp per battle. Using two...

Re: Struggling in Northrend
For FFF I preffer s/s. You practically get the big shot regardless of power anyway, and, especially so in pvp but in pve it also applies, it's good to have higher speed to deploy your OMGWTFBBQ combo before the opponent can interrupt you in any way.

Re: Mechanical Stone?
I've had several already, can't say exactly how many, but for sure remember upping my mechanical yeti, pandaren dragonling, personal world destroyer and s/s FFF. Get a hefty stack of patience and do the trainer dailies. (I found having 3 unplayed alts parked at EK, K and Outland master tamers a grea...

The 1st thing I did after seeing my pet masacred with it was to find that poor droped jaw of mine.
The 2nd was to find out WTH has just happened.
The 3rd was to check if I have any pet that learns that skill to mark it with a star with a "level ASAP" note

Re: Critter question
If you don't have a Lucky Quilen Cub, I'd suggest upgrading a Perky Pug. He's pretty tough little beastie, eating both critters and udeads, doing pretty well against elementals, and being able to heal himself on top.
And it's a perky pug. Come on...
