Indeed, I got it as my 1801st pet as well as a reward for an invisible achievement. And Rematch does not recognize it as my own, saying "This is an opponent pet"...
Still, it battles just fine - let's hope they will fix this little bug in the release version tomorrow!

The good news is that you can kill and loot that event boss many times, if being invited to parties from different servers, not just once a day.
