You can level pets on almost any of the Family Familiar trainers in Legion, as long as you have bandages. They give the same XP as Squirt with the Sign of the Critter, just lack the convenience of a spot to heal up your team.

Ah, okay. I've not worked on Family Battler before and with the patch, and my experience with the other trainers, thought maybe they had inadvertently broke something!

I am unable to battle him over and over again on one character for the achievement progress, despite being able to do so against other trainers last week. Not sure if that's true to other Legion world quests with pre-patch, but it seems to be the case with this one.

It appears to be Sign of the Critter this week, although I don't think it was planned to be? If the Garrison trainer rotation remains the same, Thursday might be the day to level your pets!
