Re: Best of Each Type
One thing to point out about the Yellow Moth. The Yellow Moth doesn't only come in one variety. There are three different variations of the Yellow moth and when you buy it from the vendor you can get any variety. They're not expensive so you can keep buying them until you get the breed you want. Als...

Re: LF Guild with Thundering Serpent Hatchling (US) Redux
I was so close to revered with Stage Clear that I just needed to get some gold together so I could buy the pet, so I took a week off to farm some Icecrown tournament pets so that I could sell them in the AH. Last night I logged back in to my toon in Stage Clear and I had been booted from the guild. ...

Re: Best of Each Type
It's a fun thread. It has been mentioned that this list is subjective and I realize Gendou has mentioned that he was focusing on obtainable pets. Personally, Celestial Dragon is obtainable. If you have to go out and quickly capture a poor quality pet of every kind you can find just to reach 150 pets...

Re: Pet Naming
I named my Porcupette Payne, because that's the trainer that I got it from.
I named my Ghostly Skull Bob because . . . well because how can you have a skull with glowing eyes and NOT call him Bob?

his attacks are all strong against critters, but since he's an elemental, you really wouldn't want to use him to face critters.
He's cool looking though and i have mine lvled up to 20.

Re: wild pets with non-damage 1st attacks
One of the places that I liked to lvl my lvl 1 pets was with the battle trainer in Deadwind pass because the elemental always seemed to open with thorns which was good for me. So I brought in my lvl 1 pet and instead of thorns he comes over and poisons me. First time I had seen him use that ability ...

Re: Gilded Moth?
I saw two together near the battle trainer and I battled one of them and it was rare so I captured it. What was cool was that because there were two there when I arrived instead of three, that meant that someone had battled one, captured their rare and left the rest. I took mine and left the last. I...

Re: What Pets Should I Level?
You have mentioned that you were looking for a team that specifically is good against tamers. Here is my default tamer team: Flayer Youngling (i really hope they leave reflection alone) Celestial Dragon (you have to have acquired 150 pets in order to get this) Clockwork Gnome use against any beast, ...

Re: Long road to 25
don't lvl them up one lvl at a time. It'll take some time, but focus on one pet or a group of three of them. The first trip to 25 is the hardest. (the first cut is the deepest) While you're lvling up one pet, you'll sometimes find rares of the same lvl you're fighting and you can capture those. Up u...

Re: CONTEST: Pet Tips for Mini Tyrael!
Mr. Bigglesworth Once you have the Raiding with Leashes achievement which you get from learning all of the raid pets, Mr. Bigglesworth will show up in your pet inventory. His lvl 10 Ability is Ice Tomb which hits pretty hard in its own right, but it is instant death when combined with Prowl . Here'...

Re: Which mechanical to upgrade?
I now have the same issue. My Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling is already rare, I used a non-specific stone on him because I had seen multiple of every type of stone as well as a couple of non-specific ones but never a mechanical so Dragon got upgraded. But now finally I got a mechanical stone. I used...

Re: Help with Outlands Grand Master
I think I mentioned this in another post about Northrend tamers, but you're going to want rares. Uncommon pets just aren't going to defeat these guys. Right now you're facing rare (blue) tamer pets, in northrend they're going to be purple and pandaria they'll be orange.

Re: Help with Outlands Grand Master
If you don't get the matchup you want on the first try, then just leave the battle and try again, use an aquatic pet or a snail on the flame elemental and a dragon on the magic something or other he has. If you have a pet that can heal itself, then that should be able to take out the last pet becaus...

Re: Raiding with Leashes
I finally finished up the last missing pet for this a couple days ago. I was only waiting on the giant bone spider for over a month, I had gotten the rest of them relatively quick. The real pain in the ass for me right now is the pandaren water spirit. I've done that every single day for over a mon...

Re: Struggling in Northrend
Yesterday I went around and completed the Spirit Tamers in Pandaria. They were relatively easy. I remembered getting to Northrend and pulling my hair out for days as I struggled to defeat these tamers. Major Payne led to tears. The one who's name I don't know in Dragonblight caused bad words to come...

I am really wondering how this CRZ crap works actually. Yesterday morning I was waiting for the server to come back up, and checked about every 15 minutes. So the server was up for maximum 15 minutes when I logged in, and the place was already being camped by 3 people. So either I have to get up at...

Re: Arch trade in for pets
OK so I hit 600 last night in archaeology and am thinking of getting the pets. I have the clockwork and raptor already. Which factions are the best to do the trade in for pieces from the panda arch? Tol'Vir? I wasn't sure which ones had the new pets I guess. I will check the guide as well. I'm sorr...

Heh, that's how I feel about my emperor crab. Especially my H/H emperor crab. Yea, I'll outlast almost anything with the shell and the heal, but there are times when it's just a battle of attrition trying to get the other pet down.
