My best geared character is a druid tank at ilvl 884; I haven't tanked these two dungeons but should be OK I guess. Or, can dps on the druid (moonkin), or on mage, warlock or shaman (all around 880 ilvl). No heal...

So we know that if you get the prestige 1 pet, then faction change, that pet you have won't get converted.

All the honor levels will stay though, right? So if you are at honor level 49 (prestige 0), you can faction change and then complete that final level (49 -> 50 -> prestige 1) and get the pet?
