I finally looked for a guide on youtube for the chess event and found a strategy that has worked pretty much 100% of the time now for me. I move the pawn diagonal to the furthest elemental (tower) first, and then that tower replaces it, then I do that to the nearest pawn diagonal to the nearest wave...

Worked on this for two hours. That's just not worth it to me. This is an encounter that is NOT worth it. Gave up and hearthed.

A guildmate of mine was downplaying the value of the darkmoon eye back when it first came out; the first week of the dailies I wound up with 2 of them and was thinking of trading for something. Since they were like "oh I don't even think it's worth 10k and will just wait" I traded one for a gregario...

It doesn't seem like you can actually AFK in a pet battle. The timer runs out and then the opponent gets to move. Then you stay afk, and then the timer runs out and they just get to move again as if you passed. So you're essentially passing until they win. Am I just not understanding how to AFK then...

It's something I've considered for the "win and don't let pets die x times in a row" pvp achievement.

When leveling some pets today they would not receive XP unless they attacked or were attacked in return. Don't remember seeing if the enemy pet buffing still allowed for XP.

It was definitely worth it to keep a lvl 85 alt parked out there to camp for a P/P rare. It's a fantastic pet and I use it on a lot of teams when doing the dailies.

The one time heal for the crab is also pretty good. The P/P emperor crab is in general I think a very good pet for most master tamer battles, being able to handle on its own many teams 1v2 and sometimes 1v3. A good pet to have in your arsenal. It's no fancy raid pet like Chrominimus (which is also a...

I like my P/P more because it hits harder and heals harder, which most of the time makes up for having less hit points. I did level up both the P/P and H/H though. I would say level the P/P first, then the H/H, but don't worry so much about getting the H/H leveled up as fast.

I know everybody wants it. I have a darkmoon eye, as well as multiples of the pandaren spirit pets and most of the raid drop pets like the viscidous thing.
