WoD zones - Unable to interact with pets
I have found that in WoD zones I cannot interact with the pets - what I mean is, in all other zones I used the common technique of clicking to check for a rare, forfeit, kill (to force a respawn), and so on. Now I cannot kill the pet (or mark it) - is that a bug? Second, I also used a technique to '...

Re: 1,001 Pet Battle Tips
When hunting for a rare pet in the wild, I will set up a team designed to capture (of course using Terrible Turnip, and typically a good all-around pet with a heal and a shield like Emerald Whelpling). Then... - Engage the pet - White-flag out if it is not rare (-10% life, but does not bring a pet t...

Re: Syd The Squid
I got Syd in my 5th Greater DM Faire bag. My carry team is Personal World Destroyer (Quake>Repair>Quake); Landro's Lil' XT (Tympanic Tantrum>Repair>Zap); then sweeping with one of my many Moths about level 22+ with Slicing Wind-Cocoon Strike-Moth Balls, using the Cocoon to avoid big hits like Whirlp...

Re: Does anyone have the Bronze Whelpling pet yet?
I did the Iron Invasion quest chain with several toons, and spent a couple of hours farming, with no Bronze Whelpling drop. I checked the AH and got a Bronze Whelpling for 6000g. Since that time the price has settled in at around 4000-5000g (depending on the server). I opted to buy the Bronze Whelpl...

Re: When will the prices stop dropping?
Interesting topic. I have heard rumors of duping for some time now, but it's Blizzard's sandbox, and I have no control over the content. I can see four possible explanations: 1) These pets are legitimate 2) These pets are legitimate, but stolen from accounts 3) These pets are "duped" - meaning they ...

Re: Thundering Serpent Hatchling guilds
Thanks to Magical Menagerie for accepting an alt into their guild so that I could get this pet! As a bonus, it has been a great guild (three linked guilds actually) on a good and lively connected server - so good that I intend to try to get this alt to level 90 before the new expansion. Now I only n...

Re: anyone else feel max level pets are...
Easy solution: If you want to know where you stand by number of pets on the leaderboard, then just click the Pets column header to sort by number of pets. Pet Score is calculated on three variables: - Number of pets - Rarity of pets - Level of pets This is entirely arbitrary, and subject to a number...

Re: Jeremy Feasel (Darkmoon Pet Battle)
I don't like this fight. I would get really frustrated by the RNG and the eternal-stun + massive DOT damage of the monkey at the end killing two pets... Now I always use the following team and strictly follow this strategy: Spirit of Competition - Tail Sweep the Eye, then the Tonk, until dead Pebble...

Re: Budget Celestials
This is an interesting challenge. I have had a personal rule ever since Blizzard opened the pay Pet/Mount store that I would not buy any, and (so far) I have not. The only 'pay' pet I have is a TCG Sand Scarab that I found for about 1000g on the in-game AH (I didn't even know that until I looked it ...

Re: Celestial Tournament 101 [US and EU tips]
I tried this on Tuesday after the reset, and found Kiryn to be almost impossible to beat o0 Used the same team as last week that literally stomped him, but this week Nairn seemed to do massive back-row damage to the point that once my lead pet died, the 2 back rows were both on less than 50% hp, th...

Re: Shademaster Kiryn
Against Shademaster Kiryn I used the following team: DM Monkey Pandaren Fire Spirit DM Zeppelin The strategy was to Banana Barrage+Clobber Nairn, then swap to the Fire Spirit. On Stormoen, the Fire Spirit uses Flamethrower+Conflagulate, and Magma Wave to wipe the turret when needed. Swap to DM Monke...

Re: leveling pet strat for Celestial Tournament and Ltl Tomm
I have not had much luck with leveling a pet vs. Tommy. There are three big issues: 1) The carry pet has to actually hit Tommy's dino, which exposes the carry pet to a big hit 2) Tommy's pet hits the back line twice per fight (in my experience) with a back line attack 3) Your other two pets need to ...

Re: Looking For Teams VS Chi-Chi, Xu-Fu, Yu'la and Zao
I used the following teams. These are strats I found, they are NOT my creations. Re: Wrathion/Taran Zhu/Chen Stormstout
These three did not prove as difficult as I expected... Re: Farmer Nishi buffed? I laugh
I have been using carry pet, Fishy, and Clockwork Gnome.
Carry pet gets a hit and swaps.
Fishy uses Whirlpool, Cleasing Rain, and Water Jet to destroy the elementals.
Clockwork Gnome destroys the beast.

Re: Celestial Tournament RNG
There is no penalty for fleeing a fight, so you can go into a fight that does no damage in the first one or two rounds and cast self or group pet heals. RNG is also why you will need a ton of pets with overlapping capabilities, just in case. I got both the bad and good last week; I lost fights I sho...

There is a detailed post on wowhead by 'valupu' telling how Mr. Bigglesworth can solo Yu'la by using Ice Barrier and Ice Tomb to block most attacks: Soloed with Mr. Bigglesworth using: - Claw - Ice Barrier - Ice Tomb Yu'la's attack sequence is: - Emerald Presence - Lift-Off - Jade Breath - Jade Brea...
