I agree that some of the rare pets (macaw, shale spider, any of the whelplings) should have BOE prompts to avoid accidents. Has something like this been posted on the official forums?

While pet collecting is my favourite part of WoW and I'm certainly trying to, as they say, "catch 'em all", I'd baulk at having to fork out 200 bucks just for the privilege of having a rare pet. I mean, how sad is that? I think things such as food/rent/etc are far more important than a bit of coding...

Don't know if it's been suggested before, but after defeating Kel'Thuzad in Naxxramas, maybe you could get Mr Bigglesworth as a pet. Somebody would need to look after him after you mercilessly slaughtered his master, haha.
