Legion - Pet Levelling
I've not really dipped my toe into much pet stuff since WoD where I got all my pets to 25 and blue, mainly as there is no clear pet levelling route. I have most of the new pets but I've hardly touched world quests and achievements which will priority #1 when I start. My question is what is the best ...

Re: MC extended 1 week. Good Luck on your Hatesparks!
I bought mine for 23k when it became clear MC wasn't going to happen. Then I actually managed MC and got the pet! I then picked up a third for 38k as I knew the prices will rocket. I've listed one up at 100k a couple of times, not sold yet, but I'm sure I will. Failing that it's a great thing to hav...

Re: 5.4 Guide to Master Tamer (levelling) + Beasts of Fable
I know it's not going to be 100% accurate but does anyone have a list of trainers and the best sort of carry pet to use? For example Moruk you can use to get a level 1 pet to level 12, but you can't with all of them. Some trainers require a pet with 500+ HP but others need even less, dependant on ty...

Re: RottenWatch 2013!
I simply cannot be bothered to try this every day across my toons. I'm sure the Rotten Helper will be fairly common as of the 25th December and if I don't get one whilst opening my pressies, I'll pick one up for under 1k on the AH for sure. Lumpy I'll pay up to 5k for after the 25th if I'm unlucky, ...

Re: Fastes method to lvl pets
In the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, near the trainer, are a good few aquatic pets. 9 times out of 10 there first move will be a buff or a shield, so does no damage to your pet. Make sure you use a safari hat, have the pet to be levelled in slot 1, and fill up with flying level 25 pets. Pterodaxx Hatchl...

Re: Are You Unprofessional If You Don't Do This?
Nah not at all. I went around all the zones collecting all the pets and greys/whites I kept unless I got a blue show up later. Catching pets is a pain, so I saw little point in getting a green, only to come back later for a blue. Now I'm a bit further along I try to go back and collect blues whereve...

Re: Need help
Wild pets are mostly Beast or Critter although you get the odd flying/aquatic. Therefore my team was made to make light work of beasts and critters and the final spot being taken up to make light work of the aquatic pets (I found flying pets slightly less annoying). So for beasts you need a Mechanic...

I used a Panther Cub, Clockwork Gnome and Celestial Dragon, but if I was doing it now, it would be the Pterodax Hatchling instead of the Celestial Dragon.
Anubisath Idol / Emerald Proto Whelp can take down most pets, but requires a bit foreknowledge to plan abilities.

Re: Inappropriate pet names...
C*nt or K*nt is a fairly common surname in Turkey and probably other countries around that area.
When I worked for a local Government in London we had a few of them, but many of them assume a fake surname as obviously, you can't have your child going to an English school with a surname like that.

Re: Best Place to level your Level 1's
Veiled Stair is OK but the wild pets attack on the first turn almost everytime so unless you can block it, you spend more time ressurecting them. The best place to level is the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, in the pools outside Mogushun Palace between the 2 shrines. You need a level 25 flying pet, or pe...

I use a 25 Pterodax Hatchling with a Safari Hat get a pet from level 1-6 on the aquatics outside the entrance to Mogushun Palace. 9 times out 10 they buff themselves or heal themselves first turn so your lowbie is safe. On the odd occasion they die it's not far from either shrine for a ressurect for...

Re: Just got back into WoW, and pet battles
You want to get to 90 really. Pandaria has so many wild pets, and all the fun PVE stuff, plus it's easier to level pets there. As a starting line-up I used a Panther Cub, a Clockwork Gnome and a Pterodax Hatchling, but all 3 are out of your reach (unless you have archeology). The Panther Cub can rea...

I'm having some success against such teams with a Apocalypse build. The trouble is in order for it to work, you need have a tankyish team yourself so your just as bad as they are.

Re: If Blizzard Added A Method For Promo Pets...
At the end of the day a pet is just pixels on a screen. Should WoW end tomorrow, your pets/mounts will be gone too, no matter how much you paid for them, or how you got them. Personally I think Blizzard should make all previously available but now non-obtainable pets/mounts available to all, includi...

Re: Wild pets boosting.
3 places of note. 1. The Vale - I use a Pterodax Hatchling for the heal. Literally loads of aquatics all around and the vast majority cast a buff/debuff on the first round so you can level even level 1 pets. Stable master in your Shrine. Only downside is the Vale is being fully drained in 5.4, so it...

I guessed as much! Still a very helpful guide.Phraide wrote:Major Payne and Thundering Pandaren Spirit are extremely hard (if not downright impossible) fights with this setup. I'm working on a strat for Bordin Steadyfist atm. After that, I'll try to figure out a reliable strat for both of these fights .

I only keep one of each pet, usually in whatever rarity I get although if I get a rare alls the better. Then when I have some free time I work through the zones, getting all rares. Only managed a handful so far!
