Apocalypse only kills active pets. "Calls down a meteor, which will fall 15 rounds from now, instantly killing all active pets."
Back line pets are not considered active until you bring them into the fight, at least this is my understanding.

1) whatever night you set, cant promise to make them all as RL often interferes
2) I would attend as many weeks as I could (See #1 lol)

I wasnt able to make this one as RL had priority last night sounds like it was fun, but to answer your question Tiz, I like the limited or themed pet tourney format as it puts everyone of somewhat lvl ground, I dont Raid or do dungeons so I dont get many of the rare pets (unless as a tourney reward....

Tiz you did a great job once again, got my butt handed to me rather early in the event but it was fun never the less. Cant wait, I had so much fun at the last event(Harry Potter). Nice to be part of a guild that actually does things together. Are the pets in your list the only ones that can enter? I actually use some of those pretty regularly. with 5.3 hitting the streets today it should make this even more fun.
