Re: Andurs (Mini Musken) Challenge in <= 5rounds with carry
Iron Starlette + any carry 1. Toxic smoke 2-3. Wind-up 4. Explode Or one more toxic smoke between wind-ups, cant remember if it is necessary. Ez I feel like you may be missing the point of a carry. It doesn't get xp if it doesn't participate (or at least sit there vulnerable for a round). If it doe...

Re: Alternative to Squirt? Fighting Andurs
Ooh, I hadn't seen the actual math on their XP amounts, good to know. I felt like Andurs with Sign of the Critter gave roughly as much xp as Squirt without it (using treats and the Safari Hat both times), getting a pet to level 22 in three fights (after which I would use level stones), but with fast...

Re: Andurs (Mini Musken) Challenge in <= 5rounds with carry
I've done it in five rounds if my carry has Feign Death or some other move that will automatically swap it with my Val'kyr, but I imagine you're looking for something that works with any carry.

Re: Glory of the Tomb Raider run
I'd love to join. My main is Kupari-Uther, Horde US, ilevel 905. Feral, but I can tank if necessary. Haven't done much current raiding since WotLK. I also have a decent Frost Mage (905) on Alliance side, and every other class Horde side, though not all have decent gear yet. Best alts are BM Hunter (...

Alternative to Squirt? Fighting Andurs
It's Sign of the Critter week, but North America isn't lucky enough to have Squirt up this week. What North America does have right now (as of writing) is the Beasts of Burden world quest in Stormheim. The quest requires you to beat Andurs and Rydyr, who have one pet each. The quest doesn't end unti...

New raven model
I was looking through the pets on the Legion beta and noticed that the raven has a beautiful new model. I remember warcraftpets pointing out some other updated models, but I wasn't sure if anyone had pointed out this one yet.

Re: Wild Pet Spawning Conditions
There are some spawning conditions other than just time and weather. For instance, I've found that some baby pets only spawn with nearby adults. These seems to be true with Cheetah Cubs, Infested Bear Cubs and Giraffe Calves so far in my experience. You have to keep killing the adults to get more ba...

Re: Minfernal
Use the keybinds interface to set up an "interact" button, then type /tar Minfernal to target a pet you can't see. If you are close enough and angle yourself right, you can still start a fight even if you can't see it.

Re: Wild Pets by Zone (Outland)
I've been finding Widow Hatchling in a lot of random places as adds. Not all of them actually look like Widow Hatchlings, so I don't think that's what they're supposed to be.

Re: Am I missing something?
Losing your pets is a common problem with the bets. Try retransferring your main pet collector over to another server, logging on and checking your journal. (The last two steps may not be necessary, but they can't hurt.) Since the journal is cross-server, this should put all of that character's pets...

Re: On Pet Battle Healing
I finally got a rare Marsh Fiddler, and let me tell you, CRICKETS ARE THE BEST THING EVER. Well, as far as healing is concerned... Especially with Moonlight, which I read a while ago was supposed to be dropping to +50% healing (which is what I put in my post), but so far it's still at +100%. (I name...

Re: Change to Trading/Selling Wild Pets
I'd rather they not drop caged pets down to level 1, but I can understand those who prefer that option. I'd like to be able to make some money leveling rare pets to 25 and selling them, but I do think there should be a restriction to keep people from advancing too fast. Either restrict learning pets...

Re: Alternatives to Pet Death
I never said people weren't entitled to their opinion. But it seems that mine is not welcome here lol Heaven forbid, I guess, that someone disagrees even when there was an open invite to give ones opinion. Oh well. Here's hoping that the majority of people end up satisfied with how all this pans ou...

Re: Change to Trading/Selling Wild Pets
I'm pretty disappointed by this. I sure hope it's temporary. I don't like to raid or pvp. I barely run dungeons. I like questing, but my main interest in WoW is collecting pets. I was really excited not only about the pet battles themselves but about finding a way to make profit off something I love...

Re: Powerleveling pets 1-10 (video(s) included)
A few things I've discovered while testing powerleveling: You get an xp bonus for difficulty, so the higher the enemy relative to your pet, the higher the xp. That is on an individual basis, not group. When I was powerleveling Murkablo in the Swamp of Sorrows, he got more xp fighting the same enemie...

Re: Alternatives to Pet Death
Lysi, I'm sorry the people on the general forums have been such turds. If it's any consolation, people on the beta forums are generally much more supportive of at least changing the language so the pets don't die. @Feathered: It's not just pixels, it's an idea. I've been really looking forward to pe...

Re: Pet battling tips
In case anyone hasn't seen it, I'll mention the Pet Battle Rarity addon at http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info21340-PetBattleRarity.html#info This addon is super useful and shows the rarity of enemy battle pets on their tooltips once you are in battle with them. Right now, healing ...

Re: Powerleveling pets 1-10 (video(s) included)
Have they changed how experience works? I was powerleveling a level 1 in a level 10 area just yesterday, and it got experience for every enemy pet involved even when I switched it out on the first turn. Maybe it works differently at higher levels?

Re: Alternatives to Pet Death
We are playing the game World of WAR craft right? You know, where people kill stuff? What difference does it make? It's just a game full of pixels after all. It's not like people are going around killing ACTUALL LIVING animals (which Im completely against). Besides, making the pets "faint" or surre...

Re: You no take carrot! You take (terrible) turnip instead!
One thing of note: the Terrible Turnip is the only pet I've seen (so far) to have a "False Swipe" type ability... that is, a move that will not reduce the opponent below 1 health. If this stays the only pet with Weakening Blow (or a similar ability), the Turnip stands to be extremely useful in captu...
