I noticed after fighting Vesharr the trainer at Veil Terokk that he also functions as a vendor and has two pets for sale. Veilwatcher Hatchling sells for 900g and teaches Rubyfeather and Kaliri Hatchling for 9g.

Yeah, they're using the new human model. Rotten Little Helper also has the new gnome model and the skin is quite darker, more gray than green.

Thanks to a tip from [profile]Ooryl[/profile], the Hydraling was found on the beta. The Writhing Mire in Spires of Arak. Inside a cave you'll find an egg that summons a rarespawn. Killing the rarepsawn allows you to loot the egg again and collect the pet. Yay! Sadly this looks like it's a one time ...

On the PTR I bought all the variant colors of the talbuk and other mounts that I've never bothered with before. This put me over 100 mounts and the Blue Dragonhawk reward just showed up in my mount tab. Got an announcement for the achievement but no mail of any kind.

I'm not in the Beta, but have been on the PTR. You tend to get booted every 5 mins or so, so I've been hunting up the pets. Training isn't unlocked but the trainers and pets are there. I've spotted both the tiny twisters and the tiny bog beast in clear daytime weather if that helps.
