Re: Wild Crimson Hatchling with Aki?
I use Scourged Whelpling, Darkness and then Tail Sweep, never have any problems and generally get a few hits in on the otter as well. I use a Flayer Youngling for the cricket - one Rampage takes it out - and keep it in to Deflect the Lightning Storm before bringing in the Whelpling. (Flayer still ha...

Re: PvP Mechanics
One more question about PvP battles and the rewards for winning them. Are we supposed to get something with each win? The satisfaction of a battle well fought. ;) Lesser charms and stones are random rewards. A non-max-level character will also get player xp only if the match lasted longer than 1 mi...

Re: PvP Mechanics
Nocturnal Strike has a 100% hit chance against targets that are blinded; Darkness blinds targets, but also gives an accuracy debuff across the board. So Nocturnal Strike actually has: 50% hit chance when no weather/debuffs are present; 100% hit chance when opponent is blinded and no weather/other de...

Re: Exactly how many players are PvPing?
That is odd. It's my understanding that queues are by battlegroup, and if I'm trying to get away from a particular team waiting a few seconds before requeuing usually does the trick. I face a pretty wide variety of teams on about a 30-60 second queue pretty much every time I play (which is often). D...

PvP. And thanks to the person above, I checked out the link, but it didn't really help xD For example, I love my Gurky, but it's clearly inferior to Mr. Wiggles when it comes to pet battles... and when PvPing, you have to optimize :( Inferior in what way? On what team? You could certainly build a t...

Re: Help! Can't find keybindings on battle UI!
a joke priest :o You wound me. Priests is srs bsns. I wouldn't be surprised if between the Naga thumb pad (does it count as both keys and mouse buttons?) and Healbot they're screwing it all up. I'm too cool for Healbot but I can confirm that Clique doesn't interfere at all and that's another mouse-...

Re: Help! Can't find keybindings on battle UI!
my main is a hunter and this alt is a holy priest Well there's your problem right there. Clearly the holy priest should be your main. Then everything would work out, all the time. Your UI would be perfect, highway traffic would open up for you, you could make 20 minute brownies in 17 minutes. But o...

I was not aware that key bindings in the pet battle interface could be changed. What happens on the alt when you press 1, 2, or 3 on your keyboard? Nothing at all?

I just posted this in another thread, so now I look like a spammer (although I have nothing to do with the post in question), but I really think it's worth a look for anyone just starting to put teams together:

Re: PvP team for Pandaren monk?
Soul of the Aspects, another raven/crow, another pet that can cast Darkness, another pet with Noc Strike, a magic pet with Light (does double damage when target is blinded). Also not darkness-related, but sometimes bringing something with an accuracy debuff like a penguin or Stinker is fun just to s...

Re: What an ass move!
I know I'm stubborn but there's no way in hell I would ever let this dbag get away with a "victory". If the guy is just alt-tabbed and wants to grind his "wins" like that, whatever, but there's no way I'm enabling that, and I have all the time in the world when it comes to "beat" him at his game. S...

I run with 2 swap pets sometimes (Imp and Spider), and I'm not all that hard to beat.Demoiselle wrote: if I see a team that has 2 force-switchers, I often quit.

He's typically used with a darkness team. Raven/Crow, or both, and/or Soul of the Aspects.
Edit: How could I forget the skull... also a good staple of darkness teams.

Re: Just got back into WoW, and pet battles
My 2 cents, continue to do the tamer quests as you level up. Eventually these will unlock dailies. Several tamer dailies drop supply bags; these are worth doing on a regular basis, as they'll sometimes contain stones you can use to upgrade your pets to rare. As you're going through the zones, there ...

Re: Forfeiting at the start
I will instantly forfeit against crawdad teams and some (not all) sandstorm teams. I don't have that kind of time and frankly, I gain nothing of value from playing with those people. There's no learning, challenge, or fun in it for me. They get their win, which is sometimes annoying because some peo...
