Because for those of us who are completionists about this sort of thing, this is opening up a whole big can of obsessio...

So hypothetically, if I was a member of Check Please during your earlier open-membership period, and reached Exalted for the pet, if I rejoined, where would my guild rep be? (And do I get a discount for being a returning customer? Heheh)

The pet market really is dismally slow on the realms on which I have a presence. I can't even sell the ones I already have for sale at a decent price. It's sad.

Oh, I do a little of everything. :) I go from obsession to obsession in WoW... so it'll probably be back to archaeology (shudder) while I binge on Netflix. And then I can catch up on all the Draenor achievements I've been too lazy to do. And if all else fails, there's mount hunting. (again, shudder)...

I visited a garrison much earlier today to fight Erris and got full XP, so either this change isn't consistent across the board, or it somehow snuck in this afternoon. Whatever it is, I'm just facepalming with aggravation.

My current strategy works like this: 1) Fight the menagerie, get 8-10 tokens. 2) Fight Erris, get 3 leveling stones. Standard 2-pet strategy, with a lower level getting a boost. 3) Fly to Talador, fight Taralune for tokens. 2-pet strategy to let a lower-level... you get the hint. 4) Feather to Vesha...

The Darkmoon Rabbit is perhaps my Holy Grail, the great Unobtainable Obtainable... I know I'll never get certain CE or Blizzcon pets, and the RAF pets are but a dim hope for when I have extra cash, but that damned Darkmoon Rabbit is the Big One.

Have you looked at the Critters of Draenor pet tamer? Her pet ability setup will vary each time you fight her daily team. So you cant counter it perfectly. But you can beat her with a minimum of effort as long as you have a respectable number of max level pets... one or two from each family, tops. ...

I second the suggestion to pick up a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and/or a Darkmoon Zeppelin. The first is easy if you know an engineer, the second can be earned with Darkmoon tokens or found in the Auction House. They come in handy and really do wonders against beasts.

Of those two, I'd say the Nether Faerie Dragon is a stronger all-around choice. Though depending on what levels your pets already are, it might be more prudent to use the stone on a level 1 pet. And I know there are many opinions over what's most useful, utility-wise.

I ran all three raids on my one level 100, and only got one pet to drop--the Mini Leviathan from BT.

I'm all for them being counted as rare in the site default. Because it would drive me crazy forever if (when!) I stone them and they don't show up as such.

I actually don't have any extra pets in my bags. My guildies and I try to help each other out with pets we can (about half of my cageable pets were gifts from them). Any time I get a cageable duplicate I post in guild chat or put it in the vault. And how do you have enough bank space for all those?...
