Re: H-LF Unborn Valkyr
Shiranui, I was given lots of help in finding my first Val'kyr and have learned the tricks since then. I would be happy to help you and your friend find one. Add my battletag and whisper me when I am next online. I usually play within the hours you quoted and I would not accept anything in trade for...

Re: Some help please :)
I agree that a moth for the 3rd spot is nice to counter all the aquatics you will run into while leveling and collecting, also look hard at the [pet]Emerald Proto-Whelp[/pet]. The p/p breed was a staple of mine when I captured my wild collection and you will run into a lot of flyers. Another one I w...

Re: Are there reasons to collect more than one of a pet?
I started out in the "one of each rare at 25 and I don't care about breed" camp but after I started doing pet battles I realized that breed does matter, and you may want duplicates of some pets because they are useful for the Tournament. But as Peanut said, it only matters on certain pets, and it on...

Re: Multiple or Single Team?
My current favorite team is an h/h [pet]Scourged Whelpling[/pet], [pet]Clockwork Gnome[/pet] and a p/p [pet]Yellow Moth[/pet]. I have a lightning team, a winter team, a darkness team, an explosion team, a speed team, a swapping team, A direhorn team and a few more too. I usually use what I am in the...

Re: Stuns and undead
I have had a stun used against my undead pet intentionally in pvp battles before. It is a great way to negate their ability to cast that one extra turn, and sometimes that turn can be particularly effective (Ascension or Haunt, I'm looking at you). I have never constructed a team specifically to do ...

Re: Hit chance reduction definitely bugged.
Thanks for the post, Rendigar. I yelled at my computer more often than I care to admit when Dusty would do back to back 4/4 hits with his 30% hit chance Moth Balls when I had him under Sandstorm while my 70% Crush's would miss over and over and over... I understand that my small data set is not enou...

Re: Vengeful Porcs.. get them now
The debuff only counts down while online so thats 1x5 tokens per hour. Sorry. Ugh. I don't doubt you Myst and this would change my opinion dramatically. I would not farm and sell these for less than 40k, and would expect to get it considering this will be a full day grind where having multiple toon...

Re: Vengeful Porcs.. get them now
I plan on killing my own alts with a character from a second account. It will be boring, but with 5 alts parked in one spot I should be able to make 5 x 5 tokens per hour easily. About 4 hours to make the 100 needed. It will be tedious but like many folks here I am not into pvp at all, much less wor...

Re: Top 5 best pets for PVP
I agree that the very best PvP teams are those that take advantage of synergy to make the total greater than the sum of the parts. That said, here are 5 great stand alone pets who can hold their own against almost anything but their family weakness, and sometimes even that. Darkmoon Rabbit (S/S bree...

Re: Unborn Val'kyr - Haunt
True that. But in pvp battles the ability to cast a strong dot, then immediately switch to another pet without penalty is pretty powerful at both the beginning and mid-game of a battle. Another great use of Haunt is on the UV's undead turn. Haunt will tick for it's full duration even though the Val'...

Re: Unborn Val'kyr - Haunt
I am no expert but in my experience Haunt applies a dot that kills the Val'k until the dot expires on its own. At that point the UV comes back to life in exactly the same state it was in when it cast Haunt (if dots are ticking on it then they resume ticking) That also means if the target dies before...

Arcangon not only provided the crate but he scouted the Rodents with me and found me a rare! He went first in the trade without hesitation and is a certified "good guy" in my book.
