Re: Awq's Pet Battle Tournament ~ 1 Feb 15:00 EU
You may also wish do a fixed number of minutes per round at maximum, because 100 turns to a forced loss for both can take a long time if one person chooses to stall just by waiting to the last second to choose their move, 100 times. Most stall teams (Sunlight) are countered by burst, a single pet w...

Re: Awq's Pet Battle Tournament ~ 1 Feb 15:00 EU
I am glad that you are interested! I really hope that we do get enough players to make this a success. And I really appreciate it that you have given it some thought. It's awesome, thank you for your feedback! Stall teams did not occur to me. People did not use stall teams in the tournaments that I'...

Screenshots http://i.imgur.com/0ooCNpL.jpg We arrived in Darnassus. We were waiting for the fifth participant. Pets came out. People used their fun toys. We learned that you sadly can not pet duel while you are wrapped in amber. http://i.imgur.com/uRHQgAo.jpg The duels have begun! I started out aga...

Re: Awq's Pet Battle Tournament ~ 1 Feb 15:00 EU
Start We all arrived in Darnassus. Most of us came on level 1's! We all arrived on time. People brought out their pets, their biscuits and their toys. The chat felt very relaxed, there was a great atmosphere. We talked a lot about pets/pet battles and we learned that most of us don't visit Darnassu...

Awq's Pet Battle Tournament ~ 1 Feb 15:00 EU
Awq's Pet Battle Tournament EU I am setting up a pet battle tournament! I have always enjoyed the previous tournaments that I entered. Sadly these tournaments are rare, that's is why I am organizing my own tournament. What is the Tournament? It is a bunch of people who will do pet battles with each...

Re: Longest pet battle?
That's a longer battle than I ever had! Good job beating him/her. I recently had a 141 round loss. I had three mechanicals against Sunflower, Puddle Terror, Crawdad. I wondered when they would switch to an offensive rotation. They did not, but Sunlight crit me three times. It was fun though, even wh...

Re: Looking for PvP mentor or PvP regular fight club
How do they work btw? I've been in three of them. They were all different from each other. The rules were set by the leader. The rules were all different from each other, and so was the system. What these tournaments had in common was that people gathered up in a deserted location (deserted city on...

Re: Looking for PvP mentor or PvP regular fight club
I could be interested in hosting a tournament on EU IF there is enough interest. I'm not looking forward to the organizing, but the tournaments that I've joined have always been lots of fun.

Re: Aquatic Battle-Training Stone?
Ah. I'll try to explain my viewpoint. What I am saying is that I personally do not mind the lack of aquatic stones. When they do bugfix it, I will receive battle-stones that I do not want. There are a few families that I do not want to level/upgrade. I pretty much have all undead pets (that I can ow...

Re: Aquatic Battle-Training Stone?
I don't mind!
I own stockpiles of Aquatic upgrade stones. If this is any indication, the same will happen with Aquatic level stones.
There simply aren't many (good/unique) Aquatic pets

Re: About to have my first 25 pet... now what? (LF Advice!)
Once I get my trio of fearless beasties to 25, and completed the Outland trainer series, should I pause on the questing aspect and just start grinding additional pets to 25? If so, should I grind said levels in WotLK (where I typically would head next due to the trainer quests), or head right to Wo...

Re: Brutal Pet Battle Achieve for a PvP noob
Np! Thank you for keeping your blog active. I especially like how you can describe the course of a battle, it's like playing the match yourself. And you do have a different approach to team building than I do, which makes it interesting.

Re: What breed?? WoD Edition
Either Wind-UP/Blinding Poison/Extra Plating or Barbed/Blinding Poison/Extra Plating. I pref Wind-Up, but either works. One can replace Extra Plating for an offensive move and still do well though. Barbed/Blinding Poison/Claw is quite lethal, especially when you have synergy with other pets on your ...

Re: What breed?? WoD Edition
I got three more pets up for discussion. The three engineering pets. Some interesting moves, but interesting movesets? Lets find out. Mechanical Axebeak P/P I own both P/P and S/S. S/S was my first choice, since I assumed that this pet was mechanical. At level 20 (after some boosting) I realized th...

It's not my blog! It's Discodoggy, a poster from US!
I just recommend this blog to people who like to pet pvp, since it provides the best information out there.

The 'My teams' section is outdated, it has not been updated in 6 months. You should check: http://pvppetbattles.com/daily-battle/ for newer teams! (it's the same blog)

Re: What breed?? WoD Edition
Forest SS I don't 100% agree with Forest SS. But then again, I havent actually leveled/used this pet. It makes sense. Its move-set scales really well with speed. It has a move (Sons of the Root) that gains an additional turn if the pet is faster, even though it has a 8 round cool down. Refuge becom...

Re: Brutal Pet Battle Achieve for a PvP noob
I would recommend someone to take his/her time. The pvp pet achievements are time consuming. Grinding PvP battles can be a pain! It can feel repetitive. Try to make it fun, and do not set it as an immediate goal. Try to pet battle because you feel like pet battling, if that makes sense. Choose pets ...

Re: WoD Grinding Spot?
Primary pets are a mix of Icespines, Frostfur Rats, and Twilight Wasps, with the usual mix of secondaries. I back up my leveling pet with a Feline Familiar, his combination of shield, hit, and healing is excellent for this sort of grinding. Most battles the Feline ends up with full or almost full h...
