Re: The Celestial Family
You have some good comps, and ideas Awq! Btw which of these setups were your favorite, and won you the most PvP battles? I couldn't remember the teams in detail, so I checked my spreadsheet. I did not use Chi-Chi a lot. I do not like the flying racial on any pet, I find it awkward to use. I try to ...

Re: The Celestial Family
I used Chi-Chi in a lot of different teams. It never was one of my favorite pets, but it is a nice pet to have. Here are some teams that I remember using (in the previous patch). Wild magic in combination with multi turn attacks Clockwork Gnome, Chi-Chi, Frosty Clockwork Gnome, Chi-Chi, Mongoose Pup...

The Royal Peacock will be the Blighthawks best friend!
I do like Frostfur Rat, even though it isn't great.

Re: Sporeling Sprout PvP breeds, I need more info.
I found out why S/S was not working for me.
I always used a S/S NFD as Moonlight setter. Both pets rely on speed, while having the same speed.
S/S Sprout works better when I pair it with a P/P MoonMoon, Slower NFD or Celestial Dragon.

Re: Sporeling Sprout PvP breeds, I need more info.
Oh for your Nether Faerie Dragon, you use S/S and how does that go btw? Mine is P/P and I love it haha I have the P/P and S/S breeds. They are both nice. They have their own strengths and weaknesses. The power breed hits like a truck. The power makes the dragonkin buff even more lethal. It is a nic...

Re: Sporeling Sprout PvP breeds, I need more info.
Thank you all for your posts. My Sporeling Sprout will be my clean up pet most times, and I try to refresh Moonlight so the Sporeling Sprout can do more damage with Creeping Fungus. I use Crouch, so his damage is more limited because of it. But I like being able to take hits, and finish off the othe...

May I suggest Touch of the Animus (Son Of Animus with metal Fist/Touch of the Animus/Extra Plating) as a partner for Frosty! It did wonders for me.

Sporeling Sprout PvP breeds, I need more info.
I love the Sporeggar faction, and everything Sporeggar related. Owning my own Sporeling Sprout was one of the main reasons why I actually started pet battles in the first place. It has been one of my favorite pets. It has not been a successful pet, but I tried to make this pet work in every patch. I...

Re: Overlooked awesome pets
There are plenty of overlooked pets. Most pets have their uses! A few that stand out for me are: Spectral Porcupette For me this was the pet with the higgest winratio (previous patch). It is my favorite support pet. It has such great defense and stall capabilities. The PvP team I used it in had a 95...

Re: 2 pet Christoph VonFeasel anyone?
The stun comes close to two free rounds, because of a back-lined Trihorn Shield.
But you might still be able to kill it without the Stun.

Re: Cristoph von Feasel
I used Enchanted Broom & Darkmoon Tonk the last few days. It does not feel reliable enough to use it every day while using a pet treat. It is quite slow too! It however works and it is faster than the first Rabbit team that I tried.

Re: What PVP team comps are you currently running?
I am tired of testing to see if my strong teams hold up into the new meta. Instead I feel like using the new pets instead. I bought a P/P Bronze Whelpling, because it is a completely different pet from my S/S Bronze Whelpling. For my P/P Bronze Whelpling I came up with: - Blue Carp - Blighthawk - Br...

Re: Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts
Yea. I noticed that on the first day. I did like the concept of a defensive Prowl user.
I tried to get Birman to work, but I couldn't. I haven't found pets that synergized well with its damage values.

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions
On a large timescale, it's actually less random. For example consider the chances of 'getting lucky' with Crush and KOing a pet in 4 turns. In the old system, you just had to hit 4 times in a row, ie 0.8^4 = 41% chance. That's pretty good odds, ie it favors the player who chooses randomness. In the...

Re: Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts
I am really happy with these new pets. I love the model, and I like their move-sets. I am excited about these cats, I am especially looking forward to using Cursed Birman. I am not sure if I will use Widget the Departed, but it has great self synergy and it will be a useful pet for many! I do like S...

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions
I wonder if this works in favour of the old 100% abilities.. they often felt weak, often hitting around 300. Now they wont be subject to this 50/50, so they might feel like a better option? It depends. I don't believe that much has changed when it comes to choosing 100% moves or 50/50 moves. Reduci...

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions
I hate it. The removal of RNG was completely superficial -- at the critical decision making points in the game, there is actually more randomness than ever. For example, suppose opponent is at 250 health. Old system: I need to hit once, and my attack has 90% accuracy. New system: I need to get a 'h...

Re: Valks have been nerfed into obscurity
Valks work better in defensive teams. This was always the case, but the difference became bigger. You however do not need heals for a defensive Valk team. its my opinion that the Valk is fairly useless now. I do agree with most of what you've said. I however disagree with this statement. The Val'Kyr...

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions
I am unsure about the hit system. On the one hand I really miss misses. The current system feels a lot more random and thus less skillful than the previous hit system. One can not calculate the opponents damage that easily, which makes your cool down usage a lot more random. It feels like a mini-cri...

Re: Valks have been nerfed into obscurity
You can still CoD during the undead round. I tried 10 games with my fav Unborn team, and I won them all. The Unborn has a longer cool down, which is a slight handicap. The Val'Kyrs damage is definitely lower though and it is less flexible. The overall damage (of other pets) is lower, which makes up ...
