Re: Viscous Horror odd AH activity
If the OP's attitude towards exploiting is representative of the board in general, I want nothing more to do with this site. Please remove my account and I'll be on my way.

Re: Viscous Horror odd AH activity
Would it not make more sense that these pets come from hacked accounts? The OP stated in the WoW forum that they don't know how the duping process works. We do know that accounts are hacked, looted and their contents are sold. One thing about pets is they can easily be moved to other servers which m...

Duped or stolen: would it matter to you?
Many months ago, I was reading the WoW forums and came across this topic: [url]http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/10671887317?page=1[/url] It doesn't directly deal with pets. Someone had bought a Jeweled Panther and was worried about repercussions. What caught my eye was the discussion. Especia...

Re: Nevermore - most useless ability?
If you time it right, it can prevent something like Dos Ryga from using his heal. But it's all about the timing.
I like to use it in PvP against Unborn Valks to see what they do without Haunt

Re: The dark side of children's week~
I dunno. I let my orphan get shot out of a cannon at the DMF and let him ride shotgun in the tonk battle.
But when I took him out on the battlegrounds, all he did was /facepalm

Re: UV Search: to camp or to round?
I have seven active toons, so I just placed one near a spawn site. There's one by a Horde camp in northern Borean Tundra. Only took a couple of days of checking in periodically before I caught one.

One That I Almost Missed
I don't mean to advertise for Add-Ons, but thank God for Pet Tracker! I had an alt in STV doing Archeology digs when I noticed this one Beast marker way off by itself. I moused over and it was a [pet]Panther Cub[/pet]. I looked up the quest and it looked very familiar. But I didn't have the pet in t...

Re: Battle with that pet
So my last assignment was [pet]Harpy Youngling[/pet]. This was the first one of those pets that I collected. By that I mean that it took a very long time for a rare to drop. I used to shuttle back and forth between the Dry Hills and other parts of the Barrens looking for [pet]Cheetah Cub[/pet] at th...

PSA Snowy Owl
As the end of Winter is rapidly approaching, just wanted to remind people that the [pet]Snowy Owl[/pet] should be going into reverse hibernation soon. I'm sure that most of you have one by now. But if you are new to pet collecting or just have been putting it off, now is the time to put on your snow...

Re: Are pet battles pay to win?
I would like to say one thing about the PvP pet battle system, I love the anonymity and lack of communication between the players, it's ALL about the pets and strategy. You don't know who you're battling and don't have to listen to any "smack talk." Except for Worgens :) I hate their animations I k...

Re: Are pet battles pay to win?
At Christmas, I received a bunch of the store pets as a gift. The only one I consistently use in PvP is lil Rags. The raid pets are more useful. But most of them are available for free if you raid (although RNG does play a factor). If you don't raid, you probably do something that makes money. If yo...

Re: Fastest Route Around Pandaria
I don't know if this is fastest, but it works for me. Flight = druid flight form Flight Path = use kite/wind rider from town to town. I use Halfhill as my "base". Short flight to the Farmer Flight over the mountains to Mistfall village Flight up to Kun Lai Summitt Flight to Fire Spirit in Townlong S...

Re: Whats up with Early Advantage
There are some odd abilities. That particular one - the tooltip is poorly written. It doesn't give you the impression it's 2 attacks. Just double damage. I noticed a similar thing with [ability]Comeback[/ability]. If your first hit drops the other pet below you, you don't get the second hit .It's th...

Re: Battle with that pet
Sorry to take so long. Between work and the DMF, pet battling had to be put on the back burner. Plus this assignment was frustrating. The [pet]Summit Kid[/pet] is a beast with several strong attacks against undead. Intriguing. Maybe we can catch a few Valks off guard. Good things first. It's a good ...

Re: Defensive moves
You left out [ability]Stoneskin[/ability], which is a favorite of mine. In PVE, stuff like Stoneskin and Shell shield are great. They negate a lot of DOTs and you can chuckle when the AI throws up a stampede/swarm attack. In PVP, it's more situational. You kind of have to do the math. A shell shield...

Re: Battle with that pet
For anyone who is lurking but has not joined in the thread, please take the chance. It's good to get out of your comfort zone and you can really learn a lot. So my first thought on the [pet]Darkmoon Glowfly[/pet] was, this will be easy. At the end of the last Faire, I ran a DMF themed team and did o...

Re: Battle with that pet
[pet]Soul of the Aspects[/pet] seems like a tough pet to battle with, You get 2 humanoid attacks, 2 elemental attacks, 1 critter and only 1 dragonkin. Breath is a no brainer. I really like sunlight, but didn't really take advantage of it. Solar Beam is really tempting, but the recharge really kills ...
